best character breakfast for a boy?

i am looking for the best character breakfast for a 7 yr old boy. preferrably outside of the parks. i was planning on doing this on our non-park day. doing disney quest that day!! but if the best one for him is in the parks i will do that. thank you for the advice.

I would suggest Chef Mickey's... it's in the Contemporary (outside of the parks) and includes all of the "normal" disney characters - Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip n Dale, etc. I thought I heard about a villains character breakfast in the Grand Floridian but I can't find any info so I must be mistaken .

Chef Mickey's is a good choice, but I'd also suggest looking into Donald's Breakfastsaurus @ AK. My DS was 4 when we last ate there & he just loved Donald & Goofy in their safari outfits & the food was good too!!

I would skip Chef Mickey's (YUCK) and do Donald's breakfastosaurus. If you really want a resort breakfast try Goofy's Beach Blast at Cape May Cafe

The Villain character meal was dinner at GF. We were fortunate to be able to take our 4 year old nephew shortly before it was canceled and he loved it. It wasn't at all crowded and I think many folks avoided it for fear their children would be scared of the villains and I'm guessing that is the reason it was canceled. It was the most fun our little guy had at a character meal except for when Pluto "licked" his face at the Garden Grill.

I've been to Chef Mickey's for the character dinner and really didn't like it... Too chaotic. I love the character breakfast at Cape May Cafe (Beach Club Resort) because the food is quite good (great selection, everything is hot), the service is attentive and the character interaction is great. It's kind of cool seeing the characters in beach wear as well!
