Go to mousesavers.com and look for the rental car discounts and codes. Book the cheapest car you can now but keep checking rates because the closer you get to your trip the prices can drop based on available inventory. Once I am within 2 weeks of my trip I will look on hotwire and they always seem to have the best rates. CAUTION - To book on hotwire and get their best rates you have to pay up front. For my upcoming trip I had a full size booked for a week for $220 through Budget. I checked hotwire last week and was able to get the same car for a $140 and ended up with Budget anyway.
