We are scheduled to be in room 6503 on the Disney Magic, but it looks like there are hallways on both sides and the room looks different from the deck plan diagrams (wider?) than the other catgeory 11 rooms . Has anyone stayed in or seen these rooms. Our other choices are 6504, 6305, 6307, 6003, 6004, 6637, 5635, 5135.

Any thoughts or recommendations on which to choose. This is our first Disney cruise, and we are traveling with our 3 year old.

Thanks for your help.

For everything said about not having a verandah, cat. 11 isn't bad.

I'd probably take deck 6 over any others. Deck 5 has the children's areas, so would probably be louder. My gf and I stayed in 6585 on the wonder and found our location perfect. Not too far from anything, and close to the laundry, probably helpful if travelling with a 3 yr old.

I would imagine all the cat 11 rooms have a similar width. I believe the only ones that are wider would be a suite or a handicapped accessible room.

Hi abusymommy,

We were on the Magic on deck 6 foreward but in a cat 8 room across the hall from the cat 11's in December. I really liked the location because it is very quiet since it's pretty much away from everything while only a couple decks down to the theatre. The only drawback is the distance you need to walk to the restaurants, but after you get used to it, it's really not that far. We had a 4 year old with us, and the kiddie didn't mind the walk at all.

It's not that far from the Oceaneer's club since that's located on deck five midship. We did feel some motion being near the front of the ship, but that was mainly at night so it helped us get to sleep. When we went down to deck 4 or 3 to eat, there was surprisingly little motion felt at all.

We really like the Deck 7 aft category 11 staterooms. Very good location, IMHO.

The deck 5 staterooms are not at all loud. They are located forward and aft, well removed from the kid club areas. They are actually very convenient if you have kids....and it's only one flight down to some of the restaurants.

We've been in Cat 11 on decks 2,5, and 6. Each deck has something to recommend it. On deck 2, there is less ship motion and there is the library. Deck 5 is very convenient to the kid areas and the Buena Vista theatre. Actually, deck 6 was the noisest of all as you had to deal with a lot more other guests...some of whom aren't very considerate in the halls at night.

We just stayed in 6507 November 13-16. The room itself was great, but the air conditioner didn't work. The stale air in the room really bothered my asthma. My Dad is on lots of blood thinners and is always freezing. The room was so hot, he was comfortable. (He walked around WDW with a jacket on when it was 80°!) I did complain about the air conditioner but it was never fixed.

We JUST came back from the NYE wonder cruise and had cabin 6003. We LOVED the location. We don't have kids so we prefer the forward location as most of the adult stuff seems to be stacked at the front (with the exception of Palo). It's also super quiet at the end of the hall. We LOVED the layout of the cat 11 turned on its side like that, it felt even more spacious than our previous cat 8 and cat 6 rooms. Basically we would book this room again in an instant!

We had 5507 and 5509 , category 11 and they were both great. Being on the 5th floor is not bad at all! Disney has worked really hard to muffle the noise from the kids clubs. It was almost secluded, only a small hallway of rooms. I would definitely recommend the 5th floor, even if you don't have kids...

We have 6002, 6003 & 6007 for our family in March. Our friends have 6004. I think Dh & I are in 6003.
Can you tell me which wall the beds are against? ( Do they run length way of the ship or side to side ?
Is 6003 layed out the same as 6007.
I am assuming 6002 is different since the room lay out isn't the same.
I have read that others think the side lay out of a cat 11 seems like it has more room then a normal cat 11. Our friends have four adults stuffed into the 6004.
We picked three rooms to split our group of 7 between. (4 adults, 3 kids)
