best buy scrap items 75% off!!

yes, i didn't even realize best buy sold scrapbooking stuff! anyways, my sil told me about it, and she picked up some stuff for me. we went to couple other ones, but they didn't carry much. so maybe if you have a local best buy, might want to check it out? i got LOTS of embellishments, papers, brads, things from making memories (the green square w/white m logo)? stuff. all for just around $20. was so excited!!

I had someone check our Best Buy for me today & she said that they only had a handful of stuff, nothing great but it wasn't on sale. Of course that store doesn't have the most helpful people on the planet, but there were no signs either. The stuff had been moved from it's last location, so it's possible the clerks just didn't want to be bothered.

a thought just occurred to me...maybe it's not at every best buy? i went to 2 others, and they only had a little bit of stuff. but the one i scored at was the one w/lots of things. and they did have a sign, but it was one of those print it yourself type sing...like they made it up themselves! not something you might see at every store. and when i brought the stuff to the register, they had to get a manager to come ring up my stuff w/75% off, i guess the new prices weren't even scanning/coming up in their computer system. anyways, this is in souther california. i just realized we've got lots of people here from various states! yes, i was not thinking!! was just so excited about the good bargain...i'm so sorry if your local best buy didn't carry much, or even having a sale...

Thanks for the tip, I will have to check at our local best buy, I have never seen scrap things at ours, but havn't really looked to much.

rsjj - Don't worry about it! Those kinds of sales generally vary from one store to another, but my friend was going anyway to return something. I know others find great stuff at Big Lots, but mind rarely has more than a few things....same with Office Depot when they were clearancing their scrap stuff. There was more stuff there, but nothing like what others found. I was happy though.

My friend said that what there was (other than the software) was found in the camera section. She said there was a sign on the shelving that looked like all others in the store: scrapbooking, notebooks, computers, etc. However, it had all been moved to a small area on another shelving unit in the same general area.

I don't know if that will help when you look Tabitha.
