BB had the LG frontloading washer and dryer for 349$ a piece. Didn't even have to drive to the store called and was helped by a very pleasant salesgirl who placed the order and set up dlvry and installation for me.

The one and only extended warenty I've had was from BB and it was a total rip off. They refused to cover the tv claiming that we broke it (not true). DH also has several co-workers that had BB refuse to cover their computers claiming damage was due to a virus (also not true, every co-worker when they went elsewhere to have it fixed was told it was hardware problems).

Extended warenties at other stores may be okay, but I wouldn't waste my money on one at BB. Actually they will never get a dime from me again, even if it means paying more elsewhere.

Two years ago I bought an HD TV on Wednesday before thanksgiving at BB at a price lower than other's Black Friday prices - still going strong.
I've been eyeing some stuff so might head out tomorrow.

As far the warranty - get it. BB warranties are good.

Fridge bought 7 years ago: had 3 repairs within 3 years and they replaced it! not a dime out of pocket and max 2 days to wait for them to show up.

TV (mentioned above) had a white spot problem on the screen within 4 months of ownership. They came out to the house, no charge, and repaired.

XBOX - earlier model that overheated - replaced at no cost in store.

Computer - motherboard fried and got a new one at no cost. Took a couple of months - but better than replacing a $3,000 computer!

Electronics break - better safe than sorry. having said that - we bought a dryer a couple of months back for $400, the warranty was $120. Cost ratio too high so we skipped on the warrany. Hope I didn't just jinx myself

We bought the 52" Sony that came with the free PS3 (which we don't need), but this was the best price on this TV--hubby has been watching it for a couple of months. It will be delivered on Friday.

My husband sent me to BB and told me to buy the warranty, he will read the doc's and decide if he wants to keep the warranty. Right now he is in New Zealand for work, returns on Tuesday and wanted to get in on the deal while they still had stock.

It was expensive but we haven't bought a TV in more than 10 years

I hope you realize that the ps3 is a really good blu-ray player. If so please disregard.

We just bought a DSLR camera yesterday at Best Buy. Our 4-year-old Canon point & shoot has not been taking good pictures for a couple months now, so we decided to make the jump to an SLR. This is DD's first holiday season so we wanted to make sure we have a good camera to capture it. The salesman even knocked a little off the price for us, since we were buying the camera, a case, & a memory card for it.

We got the extended warranty on it as well. I've only had to use a BB warranty on an iPod, but I found it was good. They replaced the battery at no cost to me when it stopped holding a charge.
