I would love to hear everyone's personal opinion of where the best burger in Magic Kingdom can be found. I often see recommendations for burger places outside of the park but I'm really interested to see a hierarchy of burgers and recommendations for places inside the park. Be as detailed or as vague as you prefer!

The Plaza Restaurant not Cafe, is a TS restaurant not a QS and is better than the others. Of the QS, they are basically all the same.

Cosmic Ray's was terrible. Just terrible. DH took 2-3 bites of his burger and called it quits.

I agree with an above poster that all quick service burgers are pretty much the same. You have to go to a table service restaurant to get a good one!

Thanks! I actually have already read that article and others like it. Looking for Magic Kingdom specific information. Seems like it's slim pickings in the park, but we will avoid Cosmic Rays!

Pecos Bills menu has changed and they don't serve burgers like they used to.

I voted Cosmic Rays. When I do want a burger, I always enjoyed one there.

I actually think the Plaza Restaurant might be closed?
It's open. They only do ADRs from 11a-12p now..the rest of the time, they only take walk ups. (Fairly recent change)

We have simply resigned ourselves to avoiding burgers in the parks. Our advice is try resort table service or order something else.

I LOVE a good burger, but at WDW we rarely eat them, because they are 1. hard to come by, 2. not great when you find them and 3. there are more interesting and tastier options.

That said, of the places you listed, only Cosmic Ray's still has the original toppings bar we know and love. Pecos Bill now offers a Southwest Burger and the toppings bar is more like a taco bar (guac, sour cream, corn salsa etc). Sometimes the burgers are pretty good, and sometimes they aren't. No real consistency there. The Plaza is a table serve restaurant so you may have better luck with a fresher burger there.

I've only had one decent burger in the parks and it was at EPCOT. MK... I'd just go get mac and cheese or a hotdog.

There is a local place by me that does a $4 burger in the winter as a special for year round residents (i live in a seasonal tourist area). and their burger is the BEST BURGER EVER. it is so juicy and flavorful and perfectly seared and crusty on the outside. I will always pay the extra $$ for the truffle fries. I am not really a burger person but I think I have determined I am just not really a mediocre burger person. I would pay full price for that burger but we totally jump on it for $4.

But if you like fast food burgers or you see the burger just as a vehicle for toppings (hey even a medicore burger slathered in guacamole has got to be good right? or the ones covered in pulled pork and brisket and whatever else they pile on those things) then you're in luck at disney. But compared to what I consider to be a "good burger" it is not happening at any QS places (I don't eat fast food burgers outside of WDW either). I have seen good reviews of the occasionally good burger, like the burger at Y&Y. But totally agree with your number 3. it is too much of a crap shoot and there are so many other interesting choices... I'll have my burgers where I know they are gonna make my eyes roll into the back of my head ;) hint: not at disney

Haha! This thread is funny and informative. My partner likes fastfood burgers, me not so much. Have breakfast and lunch ADRs, but nothing for the evening. Didn't want to leave the park or worry about another ADR. Figured a burger place might be best... but looks like I might need to figure again! Appreciate all the straight shooters. ;)

if he likes fast food burgers pecos might not be such a bad place if the southwest burger appeals. lots of other choices for the non burger eaters.

Plaza burger isn't bad. All the other QS burgers are equally poor, plus I refuse to go to Cosmic Rays because last time we were there it was disgusting -- food on the floor, tables, all over the toppings bar, etc. If you are looking for QS then Columbia Harbor House is a good choice with a number of different options, but no burgers. When we are at MK we either eat QS at Be Our Guest or Columbia Harbor House, make reservations at Plaza (which I guess you can't do anymore), hop the monorail to one of the resort restaurants, or just head over to Epcot or our resort for food. People always talk about how poor the dining options are at Hollywood Studios but MK isn't much better.

I don't think that started yet---we have an ADR in November for 6:30PM. Unless the non-ADR rule is for lunch hours only?
