Hi again,

I posted a question about this resort a few weeks ago and I can't find the thread now. When I put in a search for all my posts it comes up no matches. Weird. Anyway, could someone advice me on the best building to request? I'm really have no preference as to which main pool to be by. Older or newer.... but I really want to avoid the units that have the hide-a-bed setup in the second bedroom. It's the reason we chose this resort over Cypress Harbour. My kids really dislike that set-up and would rather have two beds? Can anyone help? Leaving next week!!

We've been there a couple of times and haven't come up with that configuration in a 2BR unit. If I were you I'd just call the resort and request a villa without a 2nd BR sofabed that's near one of the two pool areas.

I didn't know any of the 2BRs at Grand Vista were dedicated 2BRs. The 2BR lock-offs would each have a queen bed plus sleeper sofa in the studio portion - Marriott calls the studio portion or 2nd BR, the "guest room." So you may not be able to find a 2BR at this resort with two doubles in the guest room. If this is important to you, and if the resort verifies for you that it's not available there, then you may want to consider rebooking at one of their other area resorts with dedicated 2BRs and not lockoffs.

Grand Vista has 1BRs, 2BR lockoffs and 3BR lockoffs - don't know about others - lockoffs use sleeper sofas in some guest BRs and in LR.

Imperial Palms has 3BRs - king in MBR, double + sleeper sofa in 2nd BR, twin beds in 3rd BR, sleeper in LR.

Sabal Palms has 2BRs - king in MBR, twins in 2nd BR, sleeper in LR.

Royal Palms has 2BRs - king in MBR, double + twin in 2nd BR, sleeper in LR.

Horizons has 1BRs, 2BRs, 2BR lock-offs - most buildings have dedicated 2BRs w/ king in MBR, 2 doubles in 2nd BR, sleeper in LR. However, if you get a 2BR lockoff, it will have a double + sleeper sofa in the 2nd BR.

Seems like you'll need to call the resort directly to see what you can find out about your reservation. HTH!
