Actually, what is the best building for a person there on business? Thanks!

We stayed in Casitas and it was a very short walk to the convention center portion of the hotel.

Some of those rooms were really on the "convention side of the lake".

The Casitas rooms are probably your best bet. They are close to the convention center and are probably quieter than other areas of CS since they are the furthest distance from the main pool and playground. There is also a health club and beauty salon in the Casitas area.

If you have a cell phone be prepared there are many areas of no reception at CSR.

You will know where there is reception by the other business people hanging around going can you hear me.

If you are there for a convention you will quickly learn the few spots where you can receive a signal.

Great website Buzz-very helpful!!!

We have actually stayed for a night a
csr before but didn't really become familiarized with it. DH is there for the next four nights. He should be checking in soon and I wanted to give him a heads up on what location to ask for.

Safetymom, I sure hope things have improved with the cell phone coverage because I look forward to talking to him on his cell from his hotel. Do you remember areas that the cell phones work so I can tell him in case he has trouble?

Well, DH couldn't get into Casitas--sold out with conventioners. He is in Ranchos 6. Not bad.

He does not have cell phone coverage in his room.:(

He's been to the Pepper Market and LOVES it!

Cell reception in the room was not good unless you sat by the window or went out on the balcony.

As you exit the Pepper market there is a fountain. Reception was good there as well as out the convention area where they have table set up in the driveway area. Out by the lake was OK but once you walk into the building your reception is terrible.

I was just there in June. The resort was nice but very frustrating with the phone when you are trying to conduct business. I never had that problem at other resorts as bad as CSR.
