Best building at POP for kids?

We've stayed once in the 60s bldg (with Mowgli & Baloo) and it was really nice. Our room overlooked the kiddy pool. It was in the preferred bldg though.

We've stayed twice in the 50s bldg - once with Lady and the other time, in Tramp's bldg! Both were very close to the food court/bus stop area. My little girl enjoyed see Lady & The Tramp every morning! And it was close to the pool too!!

Enjoy your stay!!!!

Thanks - that is just what I wanted to know- my kids love the big icons and we would like to be close to the lobby/food court area.

We just came back last week and had a Fantastic time @ POP !!! We stayed in the 50's Building closest to the food court and shops... our room was 1408. It was the best location , but next time I would ask to be on the 2nd floor instead of the 4th floor. We usually always took the elevator up and walked down the stairs. We loved the main pool area with the water sprays and usually went to that pool(60,s Pool) ,instead of the Bowling pin 50's Pool. They we both very close to our room ,but we preferred the 50's pool with the spray flowers !!! :flower: Enjoy your planning :flower: :flower:

I will be at the Pop Centrury 9/23 - 9/27. Is there any way to request a certain building? My reservation is for a standard view. Thanks.

We requested a 4th floor room in 50's bldg for our Oct. trip. Was wondering why you would request 2nd floor next time? What were the problems if any? thanks :wave2:

I usually request my 1st and 2nd choice buildings and have always gotten one or the other. (Not at POP but at other Disney resorts)

If you aren't paying for a preferred building, I would suggest 70's in the building with the Country Music 8 Track Tape, end near the main building. We stayed there and had a corner room, 1st floor which was right next to the main building and the kids area that squirts water was right there!

I think the veiw from both the 2nd and 4th floors was just about the same ...we had a great view ,by the way . But I was always too tired to walk up 4 flights of stairs ,esp. after a long day in the parks. I would have preferred to only walk up 1 flight of stairs , instead !!!! Once we forgot our refillable drink cups and the thought of walking all the way back up 4 flts. of stairs was too much. The majority of the time we took the elevator up...but in our case we did a bit more walking past were our room would be ,just to get to the elevator. We had a room closest to the food court and 60's pool :flower: ,but the elevators were past our wing in the center of the building !! Hope this answers your question .Our room was 1408 and we asked for a 50's room upon arrival !!! P.S....1308=3rd floor,1208=2nd floor,1108=1st foor. Happy Planning :earsgirl:
