Best Buffets???

I am SO anti-buffet at home, but actually like them at WDW

Faves

Breakfast: CP
Dinner: Boma

This trip we are trying 1900 park fare breakfast, and Akershus dinner. (I know that the Akershus, is a combination buffet, and order)

The only buffets I don't care for all that much is Cef Mickey's dinner (but it is still on our list of must-dos for my DD), and I did not like Donald's at AK (but we are giving it another shot this trip, after a 4 year break)

Breakfast: 1900 Park Fare
Lunch: Used to be Hollywood and Vine, but they don't have it anymore, so none.
Dinner: Cape May Cafe

I have eaten at Trail's End for breakfast and lunch. Both were very good and I know I will return.
I like Cape May, but not CRAZY about it. Good place. But I try to get there at opening. I have seen the food guest-handled a little too much and too often there. That is why I am leery about Chef Mickey's. We have not eaten there.
The best buffet overall is Boma's, hands down.
The only downside to Boma's is it is so good we have a tendency to over eat there. Zebra Domes....... :worship: French Pressed coffee.......

We just got back and ate dinner at Boma, Chef Mickey's and Biergarten. Loved them all and would recommend them. Loved lunch at Crystal Palace too.

we've only done 1900 Park Fare for breakfast and
Crystal Palace for lunch (2x) and are doing both again. Guess that after reading all the Boma raves we will have to add it too.

i LOVED biergarten....NOT for vegetarians though, a lot of meat.
i haven't tried the other two you have on your list, but i have done Boma for breakfast twice. AMAZING. best buffet i've ever had at WDW.

Loved Crystal Palace :)
Hated Biergarten :( Food's ok, but buffet presentation left lots to be desired, looked old and dippy, and half empty all the time.

For dinner, we like either Boma or Cape May.

Hands-down winner - Chef Mickey's for Dinner; atmosphere can't be beat and food is of high quality for a buffet. If you're a dessert eater, it's hard to pick from the assortment they offer you.

Although not up to Chef Mickey's standard, using the Fantasmic Package at Hollywood & Vine is a good, economical choice. We usually eat there the day after Chef Mickey's and recognize some of the same food choices.

What is your opinion on the best buffets, character or not???
Please list:Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner.
We are thinking so far....

Breakfast:Cape May-Beach Club
Lunch:Biergarten
Dinner:Cinderella Gala Feast-GF

Thanks for the input!!! :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

I think one of the best value buffet is the Cape May Cafe for dinner, but only if you like seafood. I think it's called a clambake, but there is tons of seafood and even some regular meat too. Yum!

I love Boma! I've never been for breakfast...but maybe can do breakfast there on this trip in April. My husband loves the seafood buffet at Cape May. He just loves the fact that he can eat dozens of clams. We have done Chef Mickeys - thought it was great - but kind of pricey to do several times. The older my girls get the less they want characters in their face while they eat!
