Hey! Just wondering if anyone has suggestions for good buffets at WDW?They don't need to be character meals, but we're not opposed to a character meal either. Also, pictures if you have them would be great too! TIA

We love, love, love Boma....both for breakfast and for dinner. There are enough African selections to please any adventurous eaters, and enough "normal" selections to please picky eaters. Another plus is the opportunity to explore AKL - worth the trip - it is a beautiful resort!

I'm a very picky--read very plain food--eater, and a friend and I voted Crystal Palace a shade ahead of 1900 Park Faire for variety and quality of food, maintenance of food temperature and general presentation during our visit last October. She enjoys a wider variety of foods than I do, so pleasing both of us takes a bit of work! :)

This was dinner--we don't do breakfast at Disney. Our bodies are in the wrong time zone until a day or two before we return home! :)

Beirgarten is awesome, CP and Cape May have the best breakfasts around and we also enjoy the Cape May Clambake.

We have been to 1900 Park Faire breakfast, H&V dinner and CM dinner but we are not fond of them and will not go back

My family loves dinner at Boma. And breakfast at the Crystal Palace.

1. Chef Mickeys
2. 1900 Park Fare
3. Oh, forgot the name, - Princess storybook Breakfast in Epcot - Norway
4. Wild Canyon Cafe -

#3 and #4 are skillets, not buffets, but still VERY good!!!!!!!

For some reason, my DH thinks the buffet (dinner) at Crystal Palace is one of the best we've been to!! It's always his top-pick!!

I would say for dinner our favorite tends to be Boma. It's so different from the other buffets in regard to food type, but it's not that off-the-wall where you won't want to try anything. From the meat selection all the way to the soups and salads it's probably our favorite buffet.

For breakfast it's pretty much all the same fare across the board. Most buffets you'll get the standard eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, Mickey waffles, etc. Chef Mickey and the Crystal Palace are always good for that. The added benefit of the Crystal Palace is that if you can get an early enough reservation you'll be able to walk into the Magic Kingdom earlier than everyone else which is pretty neat. Nice to take pics of the castle with no one standing around! :)
