Just wondering which is the best of the three:
Storyteller's, Goofy's Kitchen or PCH Grill? :confused3

My vote is for Storytellers. We just did this Feb 20th and the food was amazing, the atmosphere is calm. The characters were great. Best omlet around.

I'm with piecesNscraps! :thumbsup2

I haven't sampled all the buffets (yet!), but we were very happy with the options at Storytellers in December. We had a 7 am (first) seating on a Wed when there were no EE hours and the place was practically deserted! The food was fresh and plentiful. Beautiful fruit. Fluffy eggs. Thick bacon. Lox and cream cheese for bagels. A number of potato dishes. The made-to-order omelets got the BIG thumbs up from DH. Lots of varied fresh ingredients! Also, Mickey waffles and pancakes are available by request (they don't keep them on the buffet, but they are included). I'm sure there was more, but those were my gastrointestinal highlights. YUM!

The waitress offered that we could order off the menu if we preferred, but the food on the buffet looked too good to pass up. I think I tried a little bit of everything (except the potatoes--we don't eat potatoes for breakfast in TX so I thought all the potato options were odd).

The characters we saw and interacted with: Dale, Meeko, Terk, Kenai, Koda and Ranger Dave (a fun CM dressed as a Park Ranger). It was a laid back atmosphere rather than a party atmosphere, which suited us perfectly for 7 am. Mama needs coffee before she can handle chaos! ;)

My vote is for Lilo and Stitch breakfast at PPH. Great coconut/pinapple scones and banana smoothies.

We've eaten at all 3.

Goofy's - most food variety (including desserts) but probably 3rd in quality, most characters, a more hectic experience

PCH (before Lilo & Stitch) - more calm, fewer characters, omelet bar, pretty good food quality

Storytellers - fewer characters and not all come to the table, calmest experience, fewest food options but good quality, can order off a menu instead of eating off a buffet

We like to go to Goofy's for a good time, Storytellers for for a quiet breakfast and if we don't feel like eating off a buffet, and PCH for a change of pace.

I would vote NOT for Lilo & Stitch and the PCH Grill. Our experience there last week was horrible. They didn't offer us menus, even though we knew that some of us wanted to order off the menu instead of having buffet (they offer both options). When we asked they balked but finally gave us menus. We couldn't get decent service to save our life. We had to ask random servers passing by to get drinks, could never get refills and felt totally ignored. The characters came by (4 of them in the 1 1/2 hours we were there) just long enough to snap a photo. At least when we were at Goofy's Kitchen they would stay long enough to make little jokes or do funny things. Here it was sign the autographs, pose for picture and leave. We spent over $120 on our family of 7 and felt absolutely ripped off!

I would suggest Goofy's Kitchen. Yes, it's a bit more enthusiastic/hectic but the kids loved that and the food was great.

My vote is for Goofy's kitchen. We were there 2 weeks ago and had a great time. The food was awesome with a huge variety. Yes, it is a little hectic but isn't all of Disney. That's part of the fun.

What are the prices for the buffets? Are all the restaurants the same? We are coming next week and trying to decide whether or not to do a character breakfast.

Thanks!

I haven't been to Storytellers Cafe, but I really enjoyed Goofy's Kitchen and PCH Grill.
We actually tried PCH Grill for the first time about a week ago and were very impressed with it. The food was great, and there was a huge variety. I agree with lucky1...those scones were awesome! :thumbsup2 I have a dining review posted of this meal on this board (its currently on the first page, but that could change) .
