Best budget Disney Anaheim resort?

Where would you recommend staying for Disneyland? Obviously, Grand California, but not wanting to break the band and we really are not in our rooms very much.

Look at some threads on the Disneyland forum and than ask any remaining questions you have. Lots of expertise! This forum is focused mostly on WDW onsite hotels.

Hi. I don’t know how to link another thread but I asked for help while ago with close hotels (not specifically budget, but they’re all budget compared to GCH! ). Hi. I’ve been waiting for the 2026 onsite hotel reservations to open. Now that EE will be gone, I don’t see how I can justify the onsite cost. We always maximized EE every day - it was still very valuable to us even at only 30 minutes, as we could usually get at least three to five big rides done.

So now I have to look at offsite hotels, which I’ve never paid any attention to before. There are so many threads and so much information on this forum that I don’t even know where to start.

We are going in February 2026. Me, DH and DS (23). DH doesn’t like long walks back to the hotel so we...

One of our favorite budget hotels is Alpine Inn. Kings Inn is also a good choice. Have a fun trip!!

I like the Best Western Anaheim Plus Inn across from the harbor entrance. It's a 2 minute walk and they have a hot breakfast.

My favorite Harbor hotel is Candy Cane Inn, which is about a 10 minute walk. They have a breakfast,too. I'm not sure if they're considered budget, though.

The resort hotels do have discounts sometimes, so depending on your dates you might be able to get a better price for the Grand, DLH or Pixar Place.

I can't think of them as budget anymore. I keep wanting to try them out post-refurb, but the last few times I priced them out I got rates in the vicinity of $300 per night for a standard room. Of course, I wasn't looking at what would be considered a non-peak time of year if that exists anymore, but I also wasn't looking at Christmas or New Year's either.
