Opinions on the best breakfast in WDW? Must have pancakes or waffles for the kids. :-)

We absolutely loved puffy french toast (sort of a fried dough with cinnamon sugar) at Crystal palace (Winnie the Pooh character breakfast at MK). They also had mickey waffles! We thought the food, service, and character interaction were all really wonderful. We're going back next trip. It was the first thing the kids asked about.
On our next trip, my goal is to have mickey waffles every morning :)

Our favorite breakfast, which we do again and again, is Tusker House. My kids talk about the juice all the time.

We also really enjoy Crystal Palace - the puffed french toast is amazing.

Grand Floridian Cafe ... love the Brioche French Toast with Madagascar Vanilla Bean-Butter with Bacon or Sausage! Wide variety of other breakfast selections available as well.

Pancakes and waffles both available on kids menu

Boma is really good and seemed to have more options than Crystal Palace. The characters at CP were good, but the puffed french toast was not what I was expecting (and I was looking forward to trying for 5-6 years lol). Akershus I like for the princess and because it is family style rather than buffet. We've only done those 3, but I would rate them Boma > Akershus > Crystal Palace.

Boma at AKL.
Tusker House at AK.
Grand Floridian Cafe at GF.
Cape May at Beach Club.

Kona Cafe is one breakfast my family can't miss. 1900 Park Fare is a great character breakfast. Crystal Palace is another great one for a MK day.

Ohana and Garden Grill had the exact same breakfast foods, including Mickey waffles. The only reason Garden Grill wins my heart is because of Chip's Sticky Bun Bake. Sooooooo damn good and almost a sin to have that much sugar so early in the morning. We ate at Tusker House with a late breakfast reservation and had a chance to sample both the breakfast meats and the lunch offerings. I loved it.

That's a great - and popular - trick to getting the best of both. We'll have to try it sometime. As of now we have only ever done pre-RD there.

Our favorite is Garden Grill. Food is good. Characters are great. The fruit is fresh. Waffles are great and oh my, the pastries. Yum!
We also like Crystal Palace breakfast. O'hana let us down last time, but it is usually pretty good. We are going to try Tusker House for breakfast in December. We were not a fan of dinner there. Donald dissed us twice. Walked right by our table and ignored us. No big deal we just laughed about it every time we saw Donald somewhere.
