best breakfast w/disney characters?

Chef Mickey's is the best. We started a tradition that the day before we go to MK we go to Chef Mickeys and then walk to MK. It's great.

Duckasaurs (in AK) is a great one with the classic characters (Mikey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto), and Crystal Palace (in MK) is a great one too (Winnie the Pooh characters.) Though, Cinderella's Castle would be nice as well.

Two things have been mentioned: which characters do you want to see? And where are you staying? (What are you doing? Wasting a park ticket day to get into CP might not be best).

The other considerations:

Do you want breakfast? Dinner and lunch are also available (only a few lunch spots, more dinner spots, most breakfast spots) as well as the ice cream social.

Do you want a buffet? We like Ohana's because its served family style - with two preschoolers having food come to us makes it much easier for my husband and I to enjoy a meal - rather than inhale food while running back and forth the the buffet.

As of right now Chef Mickeys and 1500 Park Fare are the best. My daughter enjoyed 1500 because of Cindy and the Prince which she thought was cute. We are going in about 3 weeks for my 30th birthday and staying the weekend. I have priority seating at Ohana. I will let you how that one is...Cant wait.....Disney here we come

We went to Cafe Mays last month and I was not too impressed. I mean it wasnt aweful. I was just not impressed. My choice is still Chef Mickeys. The characters play with the kids and I think the restaurant is more kid friendly.

donalds breakfastasaurus was an highlight on our trip last summer

We love Donald's Breakfastasaurus in AK, but it might be too much for your little ones. A lot of people in a tight area. Chef Mickey's is a classic. Good food, good character interaction. If they kids love Mickey, this could be your best bet. Crystal Palace is terrific if you love Pooh and friends. Again, good food (maybe one of the best quality buffet breakfasts) and good interaction. Only drawback is that you have to be in the park.

Our favorite? Goofy's at Cape May. We found the food to be very good, the service the best we have had yet for breakfast. It was more low key and quiet. I'm not saying it was 'library' quiet but less crazed than Chef Mickey's!!! The character interaction was wonderful also. That's the only breakfast PS we have for our Thanksgiving trip this year!! When you've eaten, you can either walk or take the boat to Epcot or MGM!!

We have only done Chef Mickey's and the Princess Storybook in Norway. I vote for Chef Mickeys - it has the main characters, a good food selection, and a fun atmosphere. Princess Storybook was very rushed - the princesses swooped in on the table, grabbed the autograph books, signed, and posed for a quick pic - less than a minute per table. The cinnamon rolls were fabulous, but the rest of the food was slim pickings for a toddler. (Scrambled eggs, a potato/cheese casserole, biscuits, sausge, and bacon, all served in one large skillet).

Did you say if they were boy, girls or one of each?

CRT is hard to get but very worth it. We have also done the Princess Breakfast in Norway. Character interaction was good, food so-so. 1900 Park Fair has/had a Cinderella character dinner which our daughter loved. Chef Mickey's for breakfast and Crystal Palace for breakfast, lunch or dinner is good. Didn't they cancel the character breakfast at Wilderness Lodge or is this new?
