Help friends!

I'm OBSESSED with breakfast! Pancakes! Granola! Waffles! French toast!!!! I love it all! I'm trying to look at options for my upcoming trip, but there are so many to select from!

My last trip, the only enjoyable breakfast I experienced was at the Carnation Café, it was quite lovely. We also visited Steakhouse 55 for breakfast one morning, and it was a terrible experience. The food was average and the waiter was rude for no real reason (including bringing me a fruit bowl with pineapple in it, even though I explicitly said I was allergic and could not have pineapple. Awesome, right? :confused3 )

So let's hear it, out of the two parks, the hotels, and DTD, who has the best breakfast?

I love the salted caramel French Toast at Flo's in DCA. Earlier this year I was very upset when they stopped serving breakfast but it is back now and I wouldn't miss eating again. It's also fairly inexpensive compared to French Toast I've had at other restaurants and I thought for the price and view it just can't be beat.

I second the french toast at Flo's. That stuff is good! I've never had the mickey mouse pancakes at River Belle Terrace but they look good.

Do you like breakfast burritos? If so I highly recommend the one at the Jazz Kitchen Express!!! Super yummy!!!

I third the french toast at Flo's :goodvibes

This comic strip is wrong, the french toast makes a good side dish to be shared:

I second the french goats at Flo's. That stuff is good! I've never had the mickey mouse pancakes at River Belle Terrace but they look good.

I had those a few years ago for my first adult return trip to Disney and loved them. For counter service, it was very enjoyabl!

And WOW, everyone seems to like Flo's French toast!!!

No trip is complete for me without a breakfast at the Riverbelle Terrace. Always pancakes, most recently Mickey ones!

La Brea Bakery Cafe in Downtown Disney right before you reach bag check in! We definitely love having breakfast there when we are not doing Extra Magic Hour!!!

Both the kids and DH said within moments of booking our December vacay "we're going to have breakfast at Flo's on our first day there right?". They have amazing waffles and for such a good price!

I had a bad experience there my last trip. Bad food and rude waiter. Should I try it again?

I thought it was good. Our waitress was a sweet elderly lady who was on top of everything! We all had different meals (I had french toast) and all liked them.

I saw that in your original post. Every restaurant/waiter can have a bad day. If you see things you like on the menu, I guess I would suggest trying it again, but I can understand how that can be hard to do sometimes. We had a bad experience several years ago at Cafe Orleans, and I just haven't been able to convince myself to give it another try.

We have been to Steakhouse 55 for breakfast on 3 occasions, once each in 2008, 2010, and 2013. The food was really tasty each time, and we felt the portions were plenty large. Our service was a bit apathetic and slow the first time, a bit slow but friendly the second time, and fairly good on our last visit.

Another place where my family enjoyed breakfast was Rainforest Cafe in DtD. We have only tried it one time and haven't been there for any other meals, so I can't say if our experience was typical or atypical. The restaurant wasn't very crowded, the server was very friendly and responsive, the food was tasty, and the portions were huge. My breakfast-loving sons were especially pleased. It was a nice way to experience the restaurant too because since it was so uncrowded we could walk all around and check out the decor and the noise level wasn't bad at all.

I haven't had a large variety of breakfast foods, as I usually eat snacks from home in my room. I will say this though...the beignet sticks from Jazz Kitchen Express are fantastic!

Riverbelle Terrace is our hands down favorite.

We also like the breakfast burritos at Whitewater Snacks at the GCH. Storytellers a the GCH is also wonderful. :thumbsup2

I'm looking forward to trying the French toast at Flo's. I'm implementing second breakfast.
