Best Breakfast in Disney

If you're looking for a Character Meal I would suggest Crystal Palace. The buffet there isn't bad and my kids DD(9) and DS(6) had fun seeing Pooh,Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet.

If you don't care about Character Meal we love going to Boma at AKL. This is also a buffet and a large selection for everyone.

Best character breakfast is Donald's Breakfast Safari. 2nd choice would be 1900 Park Fare. Then,The best non-character breakfast would be Boma. All are buffets.

I'd say for a character buffet Cape May Cafe, non character buffet Boma and non buffet would be Grand Floridian Cafe.

Tusker House hands down. Buffet is great, with lots of African inspired dishes as well as traditional American fare. Mickey, Donald, Minnie and Daisy make it even better. Must do for us on each trip.

Non-character or buffet breakfasts:

1. Kouzzina
2. Kona
3. The Wave
4. Grand Floridian Cafe

If you're like us, and don't much care for character meals or buffets, I'd recommend Kouzzina for breakfast. Of all of the table service breakfasts we've had on property (which is probably most of them), they have the most interesting menu, and the execution of that menu is superb.

Also, if you're into it, they do a fantastic Bloody Mary. They used to do a great white wine sangria, too, but have since changed the recipe, and it's nowhere near as good as it used to be.

Aside from that, Grand Floridan Cafe and the Animal Kingdom Rainforest Cafe also do good breakfasts. Depending on which park you plan on visiting that day, choose accordingly, I guess.

We usually have breakfast at home before we leave for the day, but if we're already down there early (dropping someone off at the airport or stayed onsite) we like either Kona Cafe of Crystal Palace. We're not much on characters anymore, but at Crystal Palace they usually hang more with the kids.

Buffet - Crystal Palace and Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House

Non-Buffet - Kona and Grand Floridian Cafe

Boma is quite good. A few unique dishes.

Kona isn't half-bad either.

I keep meaning to try Kouzzina, but haven't yet.

Does anyone else find it amazing that Chef Mickey's was not mentioned....AT ALL???? I am gonna vote for Crystal Palace too!!! Love their food!!!

Tuskar house breakfast is really good for the character buffet, and kona has a good breakfast too. I'm really wanting some tonga toast just thinking about it.

Supercalifragilistic breakfast at GF! The best breakfast we have had at WDW! The food was awesome and so were all the characters!!! :lovestruc

We tried Chef Mickey's twice and didn't care for it. We also tried Tusker House and weren't overly impressed either - especially when you have to pay $$ for your photo with Donald but you have to stand in line to take the photo before you can go in for breakfast!

We love Boma for dinner, haven't been for breakfast though - but one day!!! If dinner is always great - then breakfast must be too!

I'm not surprised at all! I thought it was impossible to mess up breakfast until we ate at CM's. I honestly think that if the Fab 5 were relocated that CM's would completely lose it's appeal and quickly close for a refurb and overhaul.

+1. And don't forget the Guava Juice as well. Yum!

We did 5 character meals on our last trip and this was the best of the bunch and I'm pretty sure will be the only repeat visit we do on our next trip in a few years!
