Best Breakfast Buffet

I am thinking about doing a breakfast buffet this trip. We usually do Ohana but I would like to do a regular buffet, not an AYCE skillet type thing. It doesn't matter to me if it is a character breakfast or not, but it must have Mickey Waffles. Which one do ya'll think is best.

We enjoyed Crystal Palace when we went in April. Great selection of food...I'm allergic to eggs, and found plenty of other great items to fuel up on.

Also, the atmosphere was wonderful. If you are traveling with children (or are just kids at heart), we had a great experience with the character interaction and our server was excellent!

We have 2 favorites.

Cape May @ Beach Club Resort is a character b'fast. It has a good variety (yes, it has Mickey waffles)

Boma @ AKL is not a character b'fast. I think it has the most extensive variety of all. (I don't remember if it has Mickey waffles or not)

Our children are now adults, but my wife and I still visit the Cape May breakfast each trip. The food and atmosphere are excellent.

Trails End Buffet at FW was great. Whispering Canyon is not a buffet, but that
breakfast was great also.

Another vote for Crystal Palace, even though they don't have Mickey waffles. I agree the Mickey waffles are great, but I'll take Crystal Palace's selection, freshness, and setting over that of any of the others. They have such a great selection of fruit, in addition to all the other great goodies!

We use to do Chef Mickeys but think that Crystal Palace is just great and is much more convenient for us.

Cape May Buffet and 1900 Park Fare. We love Crystal Palace too - no Mickey waffles but Pooh, Tigger, Piget waffles instead!

Cape May is awesome!! It's not so crowded so the charcters interact more...and.... they have Mickey waffles!!!!

Boma has a great breakfast buffet but it didn't have Mickey waffles the last time we were there (12/19).

Can't really offer too much opinion on the others since I haven't been to any of them since '99.

Since I did not see it on here yet, my wife and I both think Hollywood & Vine at Disney MGM Studio's (I refuse to call it by its new name) has the best buffet..

We have ADR for breakfast at Chef Mickey's, Safari Donald, and Hollywood & Vine. I guess I might have to add Crystal Palace to our list!!!

My family has a first ever ADR for Crystal Palace bfast before the park opens. Very excited about going down Main Street "alone"!
