We're taking our Mom who loves a good sit down breakfast. In our experience this has been hard to find at the resorts. We'll be at the Yacht Club, so something in that vicinity would work best, but I'm flexible. Put your thinking caps on as I really need help with this one! Thanks ever so much...

My favorite in that area is at Spoodles on the Boardwalk. YUM!

Some of our other favorites are Kona Cafe at the Polynesian, Boma at the Animal Kingdom, and Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge.

Cape may at the BC has a breakfest buffet with characters. spoodles is great too.

Well, the YC Galley has a nice sit-down breakfast menu--along with a buffet.
Some other favorites-Boatwrights, Kona cafe, Olivia's. Haven't been to Spoodles lately, so I defer to others on that one.

Cape May at Beach Club is my favorite breakfast.

There's a large selection on the buffet--including Krispie Kreme donuts:D

And, it's right next door to YC

We used to like the Yacht Club Galley's breakfast buffet a lot, so when I was offered a free breakfast, I chose the Galley based on convenience and past history. I can honestly say that I am happy I didn't have to pay for the breakfast buffet. The price is $14.99 and what a let down from past breakfasts. The scrabbled eggs were overcooked and cold, the chef's choice omelet was tastey but luke warm, the breakfast potatos were also cold. The fruit pre cut was limited to melons and pineapple. There was pastry available, the usual bacon and sausage but none of the interesting extras that they were always noted for such as eggs benedict, blueberry crepes with vanilla sauce, etc. The restaurant was half full but they seemed to be short staffed. There were guests waiting to be seated and we waited for 15 minutes after being seated for a server. Apparently they didn't tell our waitress that she had our table. Perhaps this is what happens when you close a restaurant for a while and reopen it...perhaps only temporarily.

We like Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary for breakfast. It's very good and it's a non character breakfast.

I know it isn't a sitdown, it is a buffet, but the BEST breakfast we have had in a Disney resort restaurant is at 1900 Park Faire. The buffet has absolutely ANYTHING that anyone would ever desire, and the chefs preparing the create your own omelets were fantastic. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the characters were fun, but not overbearing. Alice and Mary Poppins are charming. This character meal is not at all loud like many are, and we didn't see kids up running rampant, either. It was a big hit with our family whose ages consist of 2 61 year olds, 1 40 year old, 1 39 year old, and one 8 year old.

Go and enjoy, and Happy Birthday to MOM!

Also, let then know when you make the PS that it is her birthday, and remind the server when you get there. They brought out lovely little cupcakes and sang Happy Birthday to all who were celebrating that occasion!

Skip Spoodle's stay with the YC Galley alot more choice's and better food.

Spoodles on the Boardwalk has great breakfast flatbread (pizza) adn their fritattas looked great. We ate there 4 of 5 mornings last week and can not wait to return in March.

We've always had a good breakfast at Chef Mickey's (character) but have to admit that the breakfast at Boma's (Animal Kingdom Lodge) is the best breakfast I have had at any Disney property. Highly recommend it - well worth the drive from another Disney property. Be sure to try the Frunch juice!!!

For a good sit-down breakfast I recommend the Kona Cafe in the Polynesian resort. The Tonga Toast is awesome, it's banana-stuffed french toast. Also their regular breakfast items are delicious, as well. The servers at the Kona Cafe have always been very friendly too. The Kona coffee is wonderful :)

We ate breakfast at Boma's 3 times our last trip this past February. The kids are already talking about how they cannot wait until February so they can eat there again!:D

- Kona was great since it offered "normal" breakfast food.
- Boma has good food and lots of choices on the buffet.
- Whispering Canyon Cafe is always great and very fast.

Spoodles used to be our favorite when it was a buffet, but we tried it last month for the first time since it changed to sit down, and it was TERRIBLE!!! Even the coffee was nasty.
