Best book you

ever read ?

What's yours?

I don't think I could ever choose just one! From when I was a kid, I loved Wuthering Heights, Rebecca and Jane Eyre. Now? I don't know, Harry Potter, The Hunger Games.......I read too many to pick just one!

I'm an avid reader and my favorite of all time remains Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley.

I cant answer, but looking for new books to read, but recently my favorites have been The Kitchen House and The Hunger Games also

One Day.

I love to read. My favorite authors are Robert B. Parker, Sue Grafton, Linda Barnes, John Grisham, Janet Evanovich, Sara Paretsky, James Patterson (when he writes by himself and doesn't delve into fantasy)... and I was never big on the classics even though I have a slew of them on my Kindle. I also enjoy anything Ben Mezrich writes. But "One Day" was completely not what I expected.

I love that in a book.

Some favorites of mine off the top of my head are:

a Prayer For Owen Meany

Kite Runner

A Thousand Splendid Suns

Death With Interruption

Moon Opera

Toss Of A Lemon

Little Bee

Water For Elephants

Sweetness At The Bottom Of The Pie

Those are just a few books I really liked, but I could go on and on and on.

"Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy". I love the first four in the series.
And "Lamb" by Christopher Moore.

She's Come Undone - Wally Lamb

In the Skin of a Lion - Michael Ondaatje

The Stone Carvers - Jane Urquhart

I loved loved loved the Steig Larrson Millennium Series
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
The Girl who Played with Fire
The Girl who Kicked the Hornets Nest

Loved them!

Barbara Kingsolver's Prodigal Summer. I love that there are several threads woven together.

If you asked on a different day, week or month, my answer might be completely different. For today though, the two that come to mind are both by Robert McCammon. Swan Song and A Boy's Life.

I actually haven't read the other 2! I keep hearing how boring they are so I put them off. I will get around to reading them one day.

:lmao:

Aw, I don't think that's really true! I mean they're not

I made myself a snowball
As perfect as can be.
I thought I'd keep it as a pet,
And let it sleep with me.
I made it some pajamas
And a pillow for it's head.
Then last night it ran away,
But first - It wet the bed.

but... ;)

Even the thought of having to pick only one book is vaguely upsetting! Some of my very favourites are:

The Kitchen God's Wife
If You Could See Me Now
The Golden Compass (young adult novel)
Kushiel's Dart (fantasy, and quite racy)
The Hobbit (my safety book, I read it about once a year)
The Diskworld books by Terry Pratchett
Outlander

... and so many more! I love reading!

The Stand - Stephen King

Don't let the Pigeon Drive the Bus - Mo Willems
