BEST Biscuits on Property?

I know Mickey/Stitch waffles are the *the* thing - and don't get me wrong, they're DELICIOUS.

But let's talk about the waffle's southern cousin - the biscuit.

Where are the best biscuits on property? Doesn't have to be for breakfast, but that works too. Want to take my biscuit-loving friend for a carby treat to celebrate her finishing her first Marathon in January.

They are all the same. Best you can hope for is hot and fresh. Tusker House seems to do a better job of this. Not owned by Disney, Homecoming has the best that you can get without a car.

Haven't had them, but I bet the biscuits at Art Smith's Homecoming are delicious.

I think that the PPs are right, Homecoming is probably your best bet.

The biscuits at the breakfast buffets do not seem to be homemade and look a little too perfect. They taste and look like the ones my momma pulls out of the freezer when she doesn't have time to make biscuits from scratch. Now, there's nothing wrong with them...they just aren't homemade.

BTW...

This Southerner thinks that the gravy (to go with said biscuits) on the breakfast buffets is not fabulous. At all.

I have only had them at POR. I don't know if they're the best I've ever had, but they're good! I usually get them several times per trip.

If you want southern, how about grits? Olivia's at Old Key West has delectible grits at breakfast. I go out of my way to have them

Also, I know you said on property, but we love the freedom of a rental car, and Cracker Barrel has great biscuits at breakfast, with jam, apple butter, and/or country gravy, at a fraction of Disney prices

Oh man...I love Cracker Barrel. You cannot beat their biscuits.

Yeah, I would try Homecoming. Honestly, a first time biscuit maker would serve up something tastier than what I've had at WDW. I hope you get good recommendations!
