Which resort has the best beds? I know that's a tough question because some people like them soft or firm, but I noticed the Bay Lake beds looked really nice and the older resorts still had those old bed spreads.......are the mattresses really old too. I'm so used to staying at westins/sheratons and I love their beds. Anything comparable??

I am not going to be able to answer the question, but when we stayed at SSR the beds were OK, very standard, not terrible I had no problems with them. DEFINTILEY not like at a Sheraton. I would assume BLT (since its new) or one of the newly refurbished hotels wouldhave the best beds.

We haven't had a problem with any of the beds and we have stayed at all of the WDW DVC resorts.

Have stayed at BLT in Dec. what I really liked was the use of the duvet covers vs. mattresses. I much prefer that, because otherwise I'll just take the mattress off the bed and fold it in the closet.

I liked the beds at BLT, and would rank it an equal nights sleep to the "heavenly beds" at the Starwood hotels (W, Westin, etc).

I would definitely equate the beds at BLT with a Westin Heavenly Bed or a Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed. Crisp white linens & lots of pillows. BLT was my first DVC stay last September. I followed it up with a stay at BWV in October in an unrenovated room. The bedspread was nasty and pilled so I tool it off the bed and put it in the closet. We're back at BWV in 2 weeks and I'm looking forward to a renovated room and newer bedding - but I'm sure it won't be a nice as the BLT bedding.

Sitting here wondering how you are able to fold up the mattress and stuff it into a closet??? :confused3:confused3

Ohhh, wait! You meant to type bedspread, right? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

P.S. I like the duvets as well. Hope they eventually go to those for all of the resorts.

It's all personal preference- I haven't had problems with the beds at BWV or BCV, but I found the beds a bit too firm (for me) at OKW last year. I didn't have a problem with the beds at OKW prior to that.

Agree with the "firm" comment at OKW. I'd say very firm. I've slept fine at BCV, VWL and BLT. Favorite bedding-definitely BLT. Favorite pillows-BCV.

I stayed a a split between BWV and BC in Jan, BC was a better mattress.
Actually double ply toilet paper too, which BWV didn't have and we got a welcome call at BC and not BWV. Maybe coincidence.. maybe not. .. I will add out BC ressie was 6 nights in a 1 bed room the BWV was 3 nights in a studio.
DH and I talked about it right away small difference, but they added up.

I agree with CarolMN - I love my comfy bed at home, but a bed at Disney beats my bed at home anyday!
