Best Bar...?

Okay. I need opinions on the best bar in WDW for drinks after all of the wedding activities. The festivities will probably be over around 10:00pm, and we plan on "partying" the rest of the night away. It would be nice if said bar was free to get into, unlike the clubs at PI, to save money. We won't be in our wedding attire by this point. FH and I will be at AKL for the night, and thought that drinks outside by the pool might be nice, or drinks at Victoria Falls (at AKL). Any comments or other suggestions? We don't plan on being "rowdy", just "celebratory"...!

we love victoria falls bar at the akl my favorite drink at wdw is the victoria falls mist, yum at the resorts we also like jellyrolls with the dueling painos at the boardwalk & marthas vineyard at the beach club. grabbing drinks around epcot ws is also fun.

Do you think it would be appropriate for about 5-10 people to sit around and have drinks for a few hours there? I'm sure we wouldn't be "loud", but do you or does anyone know if the resorts allow this?

My vote would be for the Tambu Lounge at the Poly. We've spent hours just hanging out there drinking Lapu Lapu's and it's been a great time.

ETA - I also like that you can sit right by the bar or out more in the lobby area and still be served. Plus it's a great view.

I think the bar at Raglan Road, the new Irish pub at PI is free even after 9:00. It is a fun place, good atmosphere.

This is what I was thinking actually, too... and it's FREE to get back to the resort after you are done for the night... and unable to drive back to the resort!!!

Any comments on Raglan Road? How's the BAR and not the resturant?

I will be able to tell you after Oct 20th. My rehearsal dinner is there and then we have a welcome party there.

I second this vote! We spent a lot of time there during our Disneymoon, since we stayed at the Poly!!

We LOVE Raglan Road. There are actually four bars, one big one inside, and a smaller one, but we warned that the music inside is REALLY loud, can't really talk well over it. Then there are two bars outside, with seating. It is a beautiful and really fun place. If you have anymore questions just let me know.
