I would go to a specialized running store and get fitted properly. You will probably pay a bit more for your first pair of shoes but you'll then know what to buy online after that.I usually walk for about an hour a day on paved roads with some hills. I feel like something always winds up hurting, today i have a shin splint on my right side. I have a pair of sketchers and I double up on cushioned shocks. I get new sneakers about every 6 months. Anyone have athletic shoe or pain preventative suggestions?
