Best at Narccoossee's

We (my mother and I) are going to Narccoossee's for the first time this August. We are extremely excited about it , but not sure what to eat. We are on the Dining Plan. I was hoping I could get some suggestions about what are the best 1) Appetizers, 2) Entrees, and 3) Desserts.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Last time I ate there I had the crab cakes, surf & turf, & the warm chocolate almond gateau & they were all delicious! DH had the scallops & they were very good as well.

We'll be there again in September w/ the whole family - can't wait! This is one of my favorie restaurants at WDW.

We love Narcoossee's! It is our favorite!!!! My favorites are:

Appetizer: The Crab Cakes
Entree: The Whole Lobster
Dessert: Key Lime Creme Brulee

I love Narcoosees, but have booked Cali Grill this year instead and I am worried whether it can match the food at Narcoosees. I highly recommend the Price Edward Mussels, surf n turf, the almond crusted chocolate cake is ok but mine was a little dry I thought.

As you can see by my DTR link below, we had a great meal at Narcoossee's last Sept. I had, and loved, the following-Calamari appetizer, Surf 'n Turf, and the best part of the whole meal-almond crusted cheesecake-quite simply the best dessert I have had, ever! When we go back this Sept. I will be repeating the calamari and cheesecake but I haven't decided about the surf 'n turf. While the lobster was good, by the end of the trip I was getting a little tired of filet, though it was good too!

What time are you going? Will you be there for Wishes? I enjoyed the view of Wishes better from Narcoossee's than I did from CG. They dim the lights (CG doesn't) and the music was loud enough to hear (wasn't at CG).

yum yum! - had this twice last september, and planning on going back this coming october again to have the same!

DH and I both had the crab cake appetizer and the almond crusted cheesecake for dessert. For the entrees I had the filet mignon and DH had the surf and turf. The filet was the best filet I have ever had.

This upcoming vacation in December we wanted to try California Grill since we've never been. But of course we were a little disappointed on missing out on Narcoossee. So we booked both and are looking forward to two absolutely wonderful meals in the world.

My favorites: crab cakes, surf n turf, and almond-crusted cheesecake. Also very well reviewed by my family: calamari (DD preferred hers with no relish, but her boyfriend loved it), mussels, and whole lobster. If you are there any time around Wishes, you can request a window table or go out on the deck. The fireworks are absolutely breathtaking from there!
