Best at Magic Kingdom

Hello. We will making a small trip in Oct. (after MANY years of waiting). We will be having lunch at Crystal Palace, and be staying for EMH. I was wondering what everyones favorite eating place at MK is. We will be looking for something small for dinner, since we'll stuff ourselves silly at CP lunch. So, any suggestions you can give will be greatly appreciated.

If you are looking for counter service, I think Pecos Bill is a good choice at Magic Kingdom. They have burgers and BBQ sandwiches along with a great toppings bar. It all depends what type of food you like. Columbia Harbour House also offers sandwiches and salads, Casey's Corner has hot dogs..... none of them are bad. I find Counter Service restaurants to all be similar in choice and quality.

For CS places in MK we are split...Pecos Bills and Cosmic Rays. Usually we do several days in the park so we each get what we like. But those are the favs.

While it is not a CS, I find the Plaza Restaurant at the castle end of Main Street to be a good bet for atmosphere and a reasonable meal. The amount of food you get would be comparable to a CS meal.

I won't eat TS at MK, only CS. If I had to pick a place it would probably be Columbia Harbor House. Pecos Bill is OK. Cosmic Ray's is generally too crowded and frantic and if you have a family who all wants different food, you have to stand in different lines.

For CS we like Pecos Bills best. The BBQ sandwich is really good. But I would probably recommend going to the Plaza and splitting a sandwich.

Love Peco's Bill's. The BBQ and burger are both excellent and you can go to the toppings bar and put as little or as much on as you wish.

It really depends on what you want to eat though. If a burger or BBQ don't look like something you want to eat, I'd stay away from there.

Agreed on Columbia Harbor House. The Fish and Chips and Tuna sandwich, while not ground breaking, are probably the best CS you'll find at MK.
