I need to dye my hair by Saturday and I don't have time to get to the salon.

Which brand do you like best?

Thanks! :flower:

As long as you stay close to your natural shade you should be ok with any of them. Are you trying to cover gray? Relvon make one that only needs to be on for 10 mins. I have used the Granier(sp?) ones on my sister they worked fine. But we stay close to her natural color.

I personally liked using Feria for bold, shiny color. I haven't died my hair in a while, though. Since the color ordeal. I wanted red but got black.

Just a tip: No matter which brand you use, make sure before you put the dye in your hair to read the bottom of the bottle to make sure it's the right color or you may look like a :clown:.

i've had the best of luck with Feria...yes it's the most expensive...but it applies well, not a super strong smell...and even though I ATTEMPT to go darker...it never goes 'too dark' on me like other ones have in the past.

good luck! and - I agree - stick close to your natural color!

I used to use Feria and really liked the results....not a real flat color, brings out your natural highlights....Iced Mocha was my color! ::yes::

Someone *ahem* I know *cough cough* has used Garnier for a long time now with good results. ;)

For the longest time I gave up on home coloring kits because they made me itch like crazy. I was in a situation where I really needed to have my hair dyed but couldn't make an appt. I tried Garnier Nutrisse and loved it. I've been dying my own hair ever since. :)

I think that Loreal's Excellence has the best gray coverage.

I've always used Nice and Easy by Clairol.

I go to Sally's Beauty supply - the color there is what the salons use - I think it's a little better than the ones off the shelf at the drug store. IMHO

i use l'oreal preference. my stylist always complements me on the color.

I've been using Excellence Creme and been very happy with it. But again, the shade I use is pretty close to my natural color.

After reading about Feria, I might try that next time!

My hairstylist just informed me of this last week. Even gave me the number of the color she was using on me!

I use Loreal Feria It covers the best especially since i have long hair past my shoulder & it covers all. Other haircolors I usually have to buy two boxes & It's noit that expensive if you compare it to salon visits.

L'Oreal Preference 5RB (at one time, before chemo, I was actually an 81/2 A girl!!!)
