Best Arcade for Kids in WDW

Hi there. I was hoping to find the best arcade in WDW to visit on our tip in January. (Not Disney Quest ) I heard Contemporary Arcade was good, but was closed. Don't know for sure. There is one in the Space Mountain building right? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Some of the resorts have arcades. I know that Pop does for sure and also when we were at POR they claimed theirs was the largest.

DH always enjoys the arcade in tomorrowland, and yes I did say DH. Except for the electronic bowling game that I usually win !! Only thing I like in arcade besides skeeball. DS(age 5) likes them all.
THe arcade in MGM by pizza planet is pretty nice too. That one had a small version of the basketball hoop game (so did the arcade at GF), great for a 5 year old. He scored like 16-18 points. Fun to have a "bigboy" game your size.

FWIW - My kids (and DH and I) thought the arcade at POR was terrible. There wasn't nearly enough stuff for the amount of people in there, you couldn't earn prizes etc... The arcades at Sports and Movies are much better.(Much bigger than POR too.) As a general rule, I think the values have better arcades than the mods or deluxes (now that you have to count the Contemporary out).

Thanks! I am looking for a big fun arcade for the kids to go crazy at! Maybe we should go to a value resort or try the arcade in Frontierland.

When you get back would you please post what you thought of the different arcades back on this link? I'm a huge fan of the Contemporary's Arcade and am looking for a replacement until it re-opens.

Sure. I will just post it here, because we will be checking out different arcades.
Do you have any idea when the Contemporary Arcade is supposed to re-open?

Let's see...The one at Space Mountain in MK, Pop Century Resort, The Dolphin Resort (next to the laundry room), there are video games at Epcot-Roads to Tomorow West, Crockett's Tavern at FW. (Can you tell I have alot of experience! )

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I'd have to say the one at Space Mountain is the biggest.

And my son loves it! I have video of him playing there when he was 7. It is cute to see how into the games he got. He would use alot of body language and hop on one foot! Of course he didn't know I was filming him at the time! Now that he's 16 I love looking back on those!

That's so cute My 5 year old does that now. It is so cute and funny to watch him play video games! He loves them so much! We can't wait to try out the arcade in SM then, I really wanted a big one for them to play in~thanks
