Sharky - are talking with her on her cell phone? They should be hitting NC on 95 soon and if you are talking with her, let her know that we have major thunderstorms moving through the state eastward (toward 95) - some of the storms are producing tornados. We are just getting a lot of rain and rumbling where I am - we need the rain so badly. Anyway, just thought if you are talking to her you could give them a heads up to be watching out for nasty weather. I'm gonna sign off for now... don't want to fry my puter!

Thanks! Sharky gave me the heads up. We really didn't run into anything except rain. It started in VA and kept up all the way into FL. Lots of lightning, but we didn't see any tornados.

WOW she made it to VA already from 1:00 this afternoon! Good for them! I hope her headache feels better.

It did feel better. I took a valium and 2 Dilaudid, so I was feeling no pain.

I meant the love bugs . When I first moved here we has hummingbirds every year, but they mysteriously stopped. I wonder if I put some feeders out....

I had my first experience with love bugs. They're icky!! They were all over my car. Luckily, there was a nasty storm in SC on the way home, so it washed them off!

We're all safe and sound... pretty wild night in these parts! 5 confirmed tornados - probably more though.

Did Tat and her family drive straight through? She said 20 hours and they left at 1:00 yesterday... that is going w/o stopping for the night isn't it? Wow... that's hard core travelling!

Yes, and it was EXHAUSTING! Hubby finally gave up on the driving when we were almost out of GA. Then he made me take over. We actually did a 2 hour power nap somewhere in NC because it was raining pretty hard which made it really hard to see. I will NEVER do it without stopping again!! Preferably, we will fly next time. Only 2 hours that way!

She said they were only going to stop if DH got crabby.....

S0, by judging at the time...I am thinking, that they stopped to eat and for potty breaks a d gas...but that is it..

I could never do that...

I hope they are planning on sleeping for a few hrs, befreo heading to the parks or they are going to be exhausted

The Best Prank Ever...On Me!!!

OK so I am a Moron & posted my # in My Calender update....

Well I know several of you thought it would be funny to Prank Me...

However only 2 of you did!!!

It was the Best Prank...ever pulled on me.....& I fell for it Hook Line & Sinker...

Now understand...I am at a Concert (put on by some friends of ours)...& it has just started...

I get a Phone call from an odd 318 #....I do not answer the Call...cause I am in a Concert!!!...That would be Rude!!!

So when I get the VM...I call & Listen to the Message.....

It is not a good Message.....

The Caller says Mr Cox ..My Name is Leslie..& I am Calling from Wolt Disney World Reservations...satellite Office..(this should have been my first hint but No I am Thinking ...Ohhh I am getting upgraded!!!)....

Then comes the Punch Line.....& we severly over booked the WDW resorts...for the Time you have been booked...& we are calling to Move your reservation to October ..I am Thinking oh No you are Not...& then comes this Line...We have had to move over 500 Guests....& because of your troubles we are offering an additional coupon to Planet Hollywood..so now you are getting 2 (useless) coupons....We feel this is a very good offer for the Inconvenience...(& this is the 2nd hint that this is not real...but did I notice...NO I was just Pissed by Now)...Now the Caller says what dates would you like to move your trip to in October Mr. Cox????...Now this is really where I should have picked up the Prank...But No again..I am Just Mad!!!...& then she hangs up after sayiong Please call back tonight & Have a Magical day...Like I am going to after you have called to cancel My reservation!!!..

So Naturally I look at DisneyMom...& say I have to go make a call...& I get up & leave & go outside....

I redial the # ....& the Lady...(if that is what we are calling Her Now?) answers WDW Reservations this is Leslie..How may I help You...( now this is my 4th Hint...But NO I still am Hooked).....I say ...I just received a Very disturbing Phone Call...& I am Upset...The Lady...says oh yes Mr Cox...(Now this should have been the end ...But NO I am to Mad at this Point to think)....

We have overbooked the Resorts..Blah Blah Blah...& we need to get your New dates....& I was about to hang up at that point & call My TA or WDW main Line...But I said I am sorry I can Not change My Dates...You can Not do this to Me.......& then it clicked...Yep I still did not Know it was a Pranki..But I am thinking....This is a scam to get My CC & charge it up...So I say...Who is this...this is Not Disney ...tell me who you are.....



















& Disneymomom say's Hey Disneydad...It's Disneymommom.....I start to Laugh my Tail off.....& I say that is the Best Prank Ever.....On Me..I am the getter Not the Geteee....

at this point I am just Relieved.....& I ask how they got My # ...she proceeds to tell me about My post!!!

& that She & Sharky came up with this Plan....& Karen2 (disneymomom) did it on the Script that they Wrote...hence all the Hints I should have gotten...cause it was a script...& she read it as if I had Answered..


That in the End was the most Funny Part to Me & Karen1 (DisneyMom) that Karen2 just kept on reading the Script as if I was on the Phone...& not as if she was talking to a VM.....

I Must say that I have been Gotten....

& it was very Funny...But during it ....Not so Much!!!!


& that is the Best Prank Ever...On Me!!!!

They are better people than we are. We took 3 days to drive home from up in their neck of the woods in PA!!! And we were only going as far as Louisiana!

We didn't do it on the way home. We made it to NC about 35 miles from VA and stayed in a crappy HoJo's. I did a bus trip in high school, and that didn't tire me out, but that was 13 years ago! I guess that makes a big difference!

I'm getting a post card, I'm getting a post card! Yippee!!!!

Disneydad said he's pooped, there's that word again. he just can't keep that out of his conversation. Hmm if I were a psychologist I'd be trying to psycho analyze why he seems to always have poop on his mind, hmmmm?

Tomorrow it's up and at it again. They are going to go to Animal Kingdom and see what kind of trouble they can stir up there!!! I hope they don't feel sorry for them being enclosed in and don't decide to become heros and set all the animals loose. What a mess that would be! Can't you just see Disneydad, Disneymom and the kids enclosed in the natural environments and see all the animals walking around pointing at them and taking their pictures, lol?
