Speaking of brothers, here's the latest on DS and Sharky's DB.............. He had his appt with his doctor, since the majority of the activity was on his lifet side of his brain they can't operate as he would lose all his memory. He would remember things in the past, pre surgery, however if he did something today tomorrow he would not remember. So that's out, then they could do a drug trial and he could be one of the ones that get the actual new drug or one of the ones who get a placebo. Another choice is something called a vagus valve that they implant in his brain and supposedly if he starts to go into a seizure it could perhaps send out these electronic impulses that stup it, has about a 50/50 success rate and there's a new thing, some magnetic device, that hasn't been perfected yet. So they are his choices. He has till January to make up his mind. Not much of an outlook for him for the future is it? Would everyone please keep him in their prayers?

Braeton goes tomorrow for complete blood work and will have a CT scan of his brain and his sinus cavities after Thanksgiving. He had another headache last night and a 30 minute fever episode today. He is much better but this is still freaking me out.
I had no clue about your son and as a Mom I know the not knowing is very scary and the knowing but not knowing what to do is even scarier. I'll be praying for the Peace that Passes all understandng to be with you all and for God's healing Virtue to flow over your son! ?God is the best Dr. there is and He knows what to do so I am going to ask for the wisdom for ya'll to make the best decision!

Braeton goes tomorrow for complete blood work and will have a CT scan of his brain and his sinus cavities after Thanksgiving. He had another headache last night and a 30 minute fever episode today. He is much better but this is still freaking me out.

Thanks LeeLee.We posted a while back when he was in the hospital for more tests for why they can't control his epilepsy but it was probably back before you came over this thread more often. I thank you for the beautiful prayer. It sure will help a lot to know he's being prayed for by you and others.

Yes Girls, your mother is here!!! Had a long, tiring day. We had a huge feast at work adn was exhausted from running back and forth eating, LOL. Plus eating makes you tired, so it was a long tiring day, do y'all feel sorry for me?

LOL why did I know that you would say that of all my DIS daughters, you'd be the one, lol. It was delicous, what a feast!!! I was tired though with my back out and trying to walk back and forth and help clean up and all, but food wise it was great!!!!

Yes my mom informs me a lot that the older you get the more you worry! Because she says you have alot more to worry about kids, inlaws, outlaws, grandkids,,,etc... She worries about Braeton and DHs health and then she worries about my health, because I am taking care of them. I'm glad she cares!!! I my Mom!!!

So you are 33 huh? I think I should know these things as your new mother, LOL....

Your other Mom is right, you do worry about so many more things when they are older. Maybe not worry more but worry about different things, it never ends as long as you are alive. I worry about Sharky, DGS, DS and everything that touches their lives in any way!
