Holy Cow! I almost just burnt my house down!!!

I was blow drying my hair (yes! I JUST took a shower! ) and the cord shorted out and there were flames flying out of it!!!!!!!!!!!!
I managed to get it turned off and yanked on the cord to pull it out of the socket! My wall and the outlet is black! It was skeeerrry!


Time for a new blow dryer.

Oh my Love, that IS scary! So glad you and your house are okay. Have someone check that outlet too before you plus something else into as you may have done something to the outlet!!! Be careful

If you look closely you can see some black stuff on the window sill. That is bits of burnt cord or wall... I'm not sure which!!!! The scary thing is that my hand towel hangs right over that plug! I grabbed it just in time!

And as long I've got photobucket up and running here is a pic of Abby in her cheerleading uniform! She cheered at her first basketball game on Saturday!
