Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a reliable app for my iphone for attraction wait times? (it does not have to be free)

Thanks,
Marina :)

LINES. Hands down. MDE is worthless for long waits as anything over 60 minutes is just listed as 60+ rather than the actual wait time and M&G's aren't listed at all.

Good Question.

I feel MDE is the best overall app....but to say the wait times are accurate well.... I think there is some monkey business going on there. I feel you can get a basic idea but you needs boots on the ground for the final answer.

AGREED.

Also, I don't know what phone you have, but I still have my iPhone 3 and MDE is big pain to load. It takes forever (sometimes longer than it takes to just walk to wherever I wanna go, seriously!) and when it does load, it constantly crashes.

Touring plan's app is speedy and never crashes on me.

I don't know anything about LINES app, but MDE always matches what is on the sign at the attraction and shows times for over 60 minutes

The nice aspect of Lines is that it will show the posted (at attraction/and MDE) wait time, but then also the more realistic 'expected' wait time.

What if you have a Windows Phone instead of an iPhone? "My Disney Experience" isn't available for Windows Phone.

Lines. Shows posted, expected, and reported (via a different link off the wait times page, when people actually report stuff). Crashes a lot less the MDE and seems faster.

Haven't used lines yet in the park, but we did use it in Disneyland. Combine that with tons of checking as our WDW trip gets closer, and I have no complaints. I'm sure it's not 100%, but nothing is. It also has Dining Menus, Touring plans, and a live chat that gets a lot of traffic, so there is always someone online to answer a question.

just joined Lines subscription for a year (touring plans subscription), looks great, I'm hoping it will get me into Anna & Elsa meet & greet without a crazy long wait ;)

I noticed maybe Thursday some of the rides had actual.times like 75 mins. Still no M&G though. I have not used Lines...thinking about it though. are the waits reported by folks in the park? Curious how it works.

Sorry but I'm looking at my app right now (Android). TT, RnR, ToT and 7DMT are listed as a "longest wait" attraction with a time of 60+ min. LINES lists 7DMT as 75 posted, TT says 70 RnR is 75 and ToT is 140!!

Besides that, we all know that "matching what the ride sign says" is not helpful as the posted time and the actual time often are widely differing numbers. LINES, gives you both the posted time and the expected time. And of course, MDE doesn't tell you waits for meets, but LINES does. Worth the money IMO.

Do you have version 2.1? Waits over 60 now show actual, 75 minutes now. No M&G times though. Lines shows 75/62.

:faint: I'm scared to...but it looks like there is an update available. Wish me luck (but I still like LINES better :lmao: )

Updated, but won't load (likely part of the server being down all morning). Score another point for LINES!
