We are going on the DxDDp next month and still finalizing dining plans. Since we can order appetizers as part of the plan, we are wondering what are the can't miss appetizers around WDW?

Do you already have a list of ADRs that people can make suggestions from?

We have some ADRs: Homecomin Kitchen, The Edison, Boathouse, Citricos and Cali Grill Brunch. Still working on the rest.

I’m partial to the charcuterie platter at Artist Point, Yachtman, Jiko and Citricos. I love the Scallop Forest, the Dalkey Duo (mini Irish sausages, and the Smokey City (cod, potatoe and Dubliner cheese dip, sounds odd but it’s a classic from the old country) from Ragland’s. Conch Fritters from Olivia’s. Crispy Shrimp from the Turf Club. The Beet Salad from Cali Grill, delicious, comes with soft crèmy fresh mozzarella. Beef Carpacio and the lump crap meat appetizers from the Brown Derby, who needs dinner with these 2. Fried Dill Pickles and Crispy Onion Rings from Sci-Fi. Escargots from Les Chefs, so garlicky. Ginger Ribs from Tepan Edo. Potato Leek soup from Rose & Crown, it’s silky smooth and buttery. Can you tell, as a Florida resident, I frequent the area!

Bread service at Sanaa--one of the (if not THE) best appetizers and best bargains in any restaurant of any nature on property or Disney Springs. 5 naan breads and 9 sauces, all for $16. It's a can't miss.
I love this too. But not sure we will get there this trip.

These sound great. We are going to Raglan for our Saturday brunch so will try one of these! As you may tell, this is largely a food trip with a little Flower/Garden thrown in!

the Orinoco Ida's Cachapas at Skipper Canteen are delicious.
The mussels were very good at BoG (not on your list and probably unlikely to find it if you don't have it already... also not sure if you are going pre or post menu change)
the lobster bisque is the best lobster bisque i've ever had (and the shrimp and grits were amazing too, finish it off with a chocolate wave, get a scoop of vanilla ice cream with it)
firecracker shrimp at yak and yeti
onion rings at sci fi
potstickers at kona cafe

I like the Dragon Roll at Yak & Yeti, the mushroom soup at Artist Point and the French onion soup at Chefs de France.

Yes!!! Our favorite! We order another appetizer and make a light dinner out of it.
We do the same thing, though usually for lunch and not dinner. We make an early lunch ADR (or show up when they open), and we've had great success at getting a window seat. One bread service, one salad/soup to share, and a couple of glasses of wine. Great, filling lunch, and we get to watch the animals.

These are our favorites: Grilled Wild Boar at Jiko, Cobb Salad at Hollywood Brown Derby,Fritto Misto at Via Napoli,Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli at California Grill,Pan Seared Sea Scallops at Shulas steak house,Teppan seared Jumbo Sea Scallops at Todd English Blue Zoo,Barbequed Grilled Shrimp and Grits at Narcoossee's ,and Charcuterie Board at Yachtsman steak house

Forgot to mention the wine... perfect complement! We’ve done this at the lounge, but I like your idea better. Watching the animals sounds great!
