This may seem like an odd question but I am curious to know which restrooms at WDW are the worst and which are the best in your opinion.

For me the worst bathroom in my opinion is the one in Adventureland that goes into Frontierland. It's a big area, but it always seems to have that bathroom smell lingering around the area of the bathrooms.

The best bathrooms in my opinion are any of the ones at Animal Kingdom because they are the newest.

I know it's a strange question but when at WDW I think knowing which restrooms to go to or avoid is important. Don't you all think so too?
:bounce:

The best bathroom in my opinion is in the Crystal Palace. They have a lounge chair outside of the bathroom. Very relaxing.

The worst bathrooms would have to be at EPCOT. The restroom in Future World next to Spaceship Earth. Very small and old looking.
The restroom in World Showcase at the American Adventure is also one of the worst because you have to walk a mile to get to it. It's tucked away in the back of the main building. Sometimes I don't think I can hold it that long!

:D

I don't really hate any of them, but my new favorite is in Dinoland, near that toy store simply because it has the only hand blowers that I like! They have SO much power! The skin on my hand was flapping! It was awesome! hehe

The one in Tomorrowland next to Cosmic Ray's used to be my favorite, because I really liked that powdered soap! Now it has just regular soap, though, so none are my favorite.:(

I would submit a vote for the cleanest restroom being at the Askershus restauraunt in the Norway pavillion at Epcot. Maybe it just was my timing, but they had a dedicated employee going to town with disinfectant spray after every visitor had moved on... I had never smelled such a heavily disinfected bathroom... stev c

I thought that the one in Chef's de France at EPCOT was very nice. As for the worst, I would vote for the one in Asia near the exit of Kali River Rapids. It's always so wet in there for people changing and drying off after getting drenched the Rapids ride.

Best: At Rafiki's Planet Watch - reading about animal poop can be amusing. BTW, it has always been clean when we were there too.

Worst: The one in Adventureland leading into Frontierland. Always a line and the smell is horrible.

hmm...maybe I should ask my brother for his opinion. I think he has literally been in every bathroom that we have passed in WDW. When he was little he had this thing about checking out the bathrooms everywhere we went and now that he's 18 he still does it and always reports back on which ones are the nicest.

I don't know about Best and Worst, but we do have our favorites. I think it is just habit, but we always use the restroom in back of Peter Pan, on the way to the Haunted Mansion - inside the ABC Commisary (sp?) in MGM - Electric Umbrella in EPCOT - and both the main bathrooms as you go into MK and AK. Seems we just stop and holler "Who has to go?" when we're near these!

Agree that the AK bathrooms are always clean and usually not as crowded.

Had a very bad, dirty, smelly, unbelievable experience at the Cosmic Ray's bathroom . . .

I love any bathroom that has -

1. no door at the entrance/exit.
2. automatic flushers.
3. automatic on/off water.
4. mirror that's not right in the main stream of traffic.
5. paper seat covers.
6. enough soap
7. regular separate paper towels (so I don't have to touch the germy handle)
8. and most important - no line! ;)

I don't think there are any that meet that discription, but my favorite is in Great Britian across from the Rose & Crown. Never crowded, always clean!

During our trip in 2000 it was almost impossible to get my sons to use the powdered soap. It was a battle during every trip to the restroom. And we made A LOT of trips to the restroom!

I love the theming of the bathrooms, particularly (sp) at the Resorts.

The Old fashion ones at POR/FQ are cool, pull handles. I remember one year, just going around looking at them at the resorts.

The GF and YC/BC have real towels.

:D

The powdered soap has seen it's days at WDW due to the Anthrax scares in the fall of 2001. For all the children that were scared of it, they are now safe to use the liquid soap.

The restroom at the American Pavilion is not only hard to get to, it's incredibly small given the huge capacity of the Theatre there; it need to be five times as large!

This would be a great theme for one of the Travel Channel's endless series of shows: "Top Ten Theme Park Restrooms". You may laugh, but they've already done the same for Hotel Bathrooms!

The cleanest one I've ever encountered was at 50's Prime Time Cafe. It really smelled like "Mom" had just finished scrubbing in there.:D

The worst was at the TTC - it was kind of messy, but not downright dirty, so I guess it wasn't horrible.

Overall, I've had very good experiences with the restrooms at WDW.

I also have to say some of the prettiest bathrooms are those in the Beach Club. Everytime we went, (dif ones too!) they were always sparkling clean..and the real towels are very neat!

This is the one inside the main building to the left of the lobby as you enter, near the shop.

I have a thing about bathrooms while on vacation :) They are so unique and I've seen some VERY interesting bathrooms! Some of the most unique ones I've seen were in Las Vegas!

Compared with restrooms at theme parks in the UK - all of those in WDW are fantastic - believe me.

Completely amazed by the automatic flushing loos on our first trip!

I was thinking all the bathrooms are nice and usually very clean, In fact at the very least 1 in every 4 times I used a restroom (an I used a lot with a 1 and 3 y/o) there was an attandant in there cleaning. So I thought I would read this just for fun. But then 2 people jogged my memory and now I have a best and a worst.

Worst. American Pavillion, seemed to be leaving the park to get to this one.

Best.(or at least a neat little bit of my trip I had forgotten about) Those hand dryers at dinoland were great! It was like an attraction, there was a line to play with it...er, I mean dry their hands. I made my wife use the restroom just to check out the hand dryer. I'm pretty sure you could use it as an X-ray machine it seems to push everything out of the way right down to the bone.

the one at Rafiki's Planet watch - animal sounds are pumped in. Oh, and I love the new super-duper hand blowers throughout Animal Kingdom.

I don't know why but I like the bathroom outside of Pirates of the Caribbean. No reason except I always end up using it every single time so it's kind of a nostaglic toilet trip...if there is such a thing. Oh, I know why. Because I like shopping there at the sort of outdoor plaza. Maybe that's it.

Best Bathroom (more like favorite one's) - Japan pavillion - when you walk up the ramp next to the tables.

Worst - The one on the right of peter pan's flight
