TS places we ate:
Mama Melrose
Coral Reef
CRT dinner
Le Cellier
Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic Pkg
Mama Melrose again (cancelled Chef Mickeys to go again)
Have to say that although Le Cellier was hands down our favorite..Mama Melrose was also very good. Different but good. We had planned Chef Mickeys for Saturday night but after eating at Hollywood and Vine buffet chose to return to mgm for another go at Mama Melrose. Not only is the food good fast and the waiters great at mama melrose so is the sangria!! Our first night there we told the waiter how good it was and when he brought the bill he also brought us the recipe for the sangria ...they make it up there.
On the opposite end the HOllywood and Vine was the worst food all week. The buffet didn't have anything for the little ones except overcooked and almost too crunchy to eat nuggets and the same old stouffers mac and cheese! My 11 YOD didn't want mussels, artichokes salad, or thai chicken on skewers. The food was all lukewarm and the desserts were mediocre also. Definitely wouldn't go again. I think it was made worse by the fact we had already had such wonderful meals at mama melrose, coral reef and le cellier....so no comparison.!!
Dole Whips~ very yummy in fact Saturday night at 830 I insisted we head back to Magic Kingdom so we could get one before leaving Sunday.
Mickeys Candy shop in Downtown Disney (think that was what it was called) was sooooooo wonderful....choc. covered peanut butter pretzels oh my gosh and the choc covered marshmallows on the crazy straws and then rolled in smashed up smarties.....ohhhhhhh to die for.
I could go on and on and on....
the ricotta cheesecake at mama melrose
the choc whiskey cake at le cellier...
I gotta go have a coffee and remember that I am now back to yogourt and corn bran for breakfast and not choc. croissants and cheesecake.
Enjoy !! :wizard:

Thanks for the reviews! I wish I were in Port hope this time of year...it's so beautiful there. I spent a summer in Coburg during University. Great part of the country! :) :)

CRT- dinner. We had reservations for 650pm.
Definitely not the best meal of the week but better than our meal at hollywood and vine.
You definitely go here for the event and not the food. It's a one time deal as far as I'm concerned especially for 2ts credits.
When you arrive and check in you then go around a corner and wait in line to have a photo taken with Cinderella. Then you go upstairs to be seated in the castle. One large round room inside the castle where you eat.
Waiter was fine. Appetizers come very quickly and so does dinner actually. It seemed as though we would finish dinner before seeing the mice or the fairy godmother but when we were almost done dessert they came out and did their smiling waving and singing. We had ordered a small cake for the kids birthday and the waiter forgot it until we had already received our other desserts so he gave us a "baggie" to take it home in....little tacky but ??
The food was o.k.
Our bill was 174.00 for the 4 of us. DD11 counts as adult and ds8 child on the meal plan. Nice that we didn't have to pay but we had eaten at Coral Reef the night before and the bill was 196.00 and it was only 1ts per person so it doesn't really seem right.
The photo was nice in a book signed and they gave us after a 10min wait a lithograph in a very large blue container that is signed also. Nice but hard to carry around the rest of the night and bring home on the plane.
Magical for the little ones and they can dress up to eat in the castle and meet cinderella but don't get your hopes up for a good meal it felt rushed.
Definitely go once but don't think people will return a second time. :bitelip:

Thanks for the nice reviews. I'm glad to hear good things about Mama Melrose because we're doing the Fantasmic package there in July!

Do give us a rundown on Coral Reef. This is the one ADR that i'm thinking of cancelling due to bad reviews. Thanks so much for taking the time out of your life to do this for us!!!

Enjoyed reading your reviews ~ Thanx for sharing.
