Here is a list of restaurants we will be eating at. We are looking for advice on the best and worst entrees you may have encountered. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!:goodvibes

Planet Hollywood
California Grill
Le Cellier
50s Prime Time
Coral Reef
T-Rex
Whispering Canyon

The only restaurant of the ones listed that we have eaten at is WCC.

DH got the skillet and loved it. He raved about the bbq pork and chicken, beans and cornbread. He even enjoyed the salad that came with it! He also enjoyed the pecan pie. That was definitely a favorite for him.
I had the ribeye, cooked med/rare and loved it! It was very flavorful and tender, nice size to.
We had a nice dinner, infact it is DH's favorite at this point, so we are returning when we go in Dec.

Planet Hollywoodhaven't done at Disney; we didn't care for the one in Chicago or Vegas
California Grillnever done
Le Celliermust have cheddar cheese soup, filet with risotto (although I subsitute for cream cheese mashed potatos); and the Chocolate on Chocolate Whiskey Cake is out of this world
50s Prime Timealways enjoyed the fried chicken and the meatloaf
Coral Reefhaven't done in over 12 years so I can't say
T-Rexnever done
Whispering Canyonall I can say is the endless shake is great; the rest of the food (we had the skillet) was awful; I stopped eating after the salad, corn, beans & potatos--which I found utterly gross; DH ate the ribs and the chicken and was sick all night.

The steak is really soft and wonderful at Trex. Do not discount their tricolor pasta dish. DS2 and I shared it. It was wonderful. Very toddler friendly but flavorful enough to leave me raving with happiness. Also their booze could be an entree on its own. Any of the cotton candy martinis will rock your world if you drink.

The only one of those I can comment on is Coral Reef...

I had the Mahi Mahi and it was excellent!!!

Planet Hollywood's Captain Crunch chicken and LA lasagna are pretty good. T Rex has an awesome combo, Boneyard Buffet with ribs and rotisserie chicken, enough to share, tasty, as is the french onion soup, LC we don't care for(prefer YSH) , it's been 5 years since our last WCC meal (we're on the fence with it this trip), and haven't tried the others.

Planet Hollywood - last time we went there was about 10 years ago, we didn't like the food then, not sure what it's like now :confused3

California Grill - never been, but hope to go when the children are older :)

Le Cellier-my husband's fav is the Filet, but mine is the NY strip

50s Prime Time - we've only eaten there a couple of times and I find the Pot Roast okay

Coral Reef - the salmon in ratatouille is good, but we haven't been back in a couple of years so I'm not sure if it's still available

T-Rex - for lunch - the chicken salad croissant is great , I'd order it again

Whispering Canyon - we always end up with the skillet and although I'm not a fan of the food and I don't even like pork (in general), I thought the pulled pork was quite good :confused3

Any reason you're choosing Planet Hollywood? I haven't ever eaten at a good one.

The ones we have eaten at:

LeCellier - We both loved the NY Strip steak. Did not care for the potato side though, small portion and bland.

'50s Prime Time Cafe - I love the meatloaf and DP really liked the fried chicken. I did not like the pot roast last time I had it. I had to send it back because the meat was dried out (like I could not chew it dry). The second plate was better but that memory is in my head.

Coral Reef - Mahi Mahi

:)

California Grill Never Ate Here Yet but all the food looks and sounds good
Le Cellier My sister and My BIL had the NY Strip steak and they really liked it. I Had the Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon with the Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes this was really good :thumbsup2
50s Prime Time We have eatten here a few times last trip My mom had Aunt Liz's Golden Fried Chicken She really liked it. My Dad, My BIL and Niece had the Dad's Traditional Meatloaf they liked it, My sister had the Mom's Old-Fashioned Pot Roast she really liked it. I had the Stacked Sandwich the Turkey the bread was not that good and the meat was okay. I had the meatloaf before and I liked that much better
Coral Reef Haven't eatten here yet but it is on my list for next trip!
T-Rex Haven't eatten here yet!
Whispering Canyon[COLOR="Purple"Haven't eatten here yet![/COLOR]

Planet Hollywood
It has been a while since I've eaten here but I enjoyed their pizza a long time ago. My mother did not enjoy her burger though.

California Grill
I haven't met a menu item here I did not enjoy. Recently had the ostrich and it was fantastic!

Le Cellier
Personally, I hated the cheese soup as anything but a bread dip. The filets are ok but I think this restuarant gets good reviews as it is a great value for 1 TS but it isn't signature quality.

50s Prime Time
Fried Chicken! I'm kinda mad at them when they got rid of their fried boursin cheese appetizer though.

Coral Reef
We enjoy lunch moreso than dinner. I like their caesar & Chocolate Wave.

T-Rex
Haven't eaten here.

Whispering Canyon
Haven't eaten here in over 10 years.

California Grill - LOVE the pork tenderloin with polenta. The filet mignon was also very good.

IMO Planet Hollywood had the worst food. We have a coupon to go there but it will be going to waste because I will never eat there again!

The only ones we've been to yet on your list is T-Rex and Coral Reef.
I had the Triasic Tuna appetizer as my entree and it was amazing! I could so have that right now and be a very happy person! It is small for an entree but I also helped my DDs finish theirs.
My mom and DH had the chicken sandwich with the pizza dough around it, it was huge, I mean HUGE! They should have gotten one and shared and still had some left over!

I hated Coral Reef, so I won't be going back. Just YUCK!

As for what I plan to eat at the other places when I go....
50's Prime-Time - I have a dinner ADR for February. I'll be getting the Tuna Casserole! Sounds awesome! My DH wants to get the Pot Roast, I hear rave reviews!
Le Cellier - also have an ADR for February. I'll be getting the Potato Gnocchi and DH will be getting the Filet without mushrooms and with the cream cheese potatoes.
California Grill - I want to get the sushi!! And the cheese plate!

Planet Hollywood Have not eaten at the one in Orlando but the ones in Las Vegas and Hawaii that I tried were not good.
California Grill My favorite item here is the sushi and the cheese plate. I've had the pork, the duck, and a steak entree here; none of them wowed me. Now I have sushi as my entree.
Le Cellier I thought the chicken dish was okay but I really disliked the mushroom filet. And the cheese soup.
50s Prime Time I've liked all of my food here. Favorite is the fried chicken. I also really like the meat loaf. If I had to pick a least favorite it would be the pot roast but I still think it's good.
Coral Reef Favorite is the mahi mahi. Least favorite is the steak.
T-Rex Have not eaten here.
Whispering Canyon I did not care for either meal I've had here. Best of the worst would be the pork loin.

California Grill - Loved loved loved the pork tenderloin with the goat cheese polenta!!

Coral Reef - didn't quite love the experience, and I found a bone in it, but the blackened catfish with pepperjack grits TASTED so very good! The soup/lobster salad combo for lunch was decent, but the portion was SO SMALL my DH was still starving afterward...

Good luck, your choices look delicious!

Planet Hollywood - the burgers are ok
California Grill - the pork tenderloin is to die for
Le Cellier - mushroom filet is excellent
50s Prime Time - fried chicken rocks!
Coral Reef - DH didnt like the NY Strip at all
Whispering Canyon - the corn bread is great, the meats are fatty and greasy and gross

Planet Hollywood we haven't done in a few trips. It was good, not great, but good. Food was like an Applebee's in our opinion. Can't remember what we had.
Cali Grill went to this past trip. Surprisingly it was our least favorite meal all trip. It was OK and the view was beautiful, but I had the fillet which was 100 times better at LeCellier and DH had the salmon which he said was way better at Akerhaus. The best part of the meal (food wise) was the flatbread we had as an appitizer.
LeCellier, our favorite! Can't complain about anything! Must get the soup with pretzel brea, Fillet with sub of mashed potatoes and all the desserts were great! Hands down our favorite based only on food.
50s- LOVE the Pot Roast, have it every time, but won't go again for a while. With our ADRs we waited an hour and a half to be seated and the meal took as long skipping dessert. 3 hours of park time wasted. Food wise though, very good!
Coral Reef, we like very much. I don't eat seafood but loved the steak every time I have had it. The rest of the family loves seafood and has never been disapointed.
T-Rex, never been.
WCC- Our family place. We always go on our first night as a welcome home dinner of sorts. We usually all get the skillet, which we all love, but he steak is also great too. Desserts, for me the chocolate cake is the best. A close second to LeCellier and based on fun factor too it beats it as our favorite (except Chef Mickey, but of your list our favorite.)
