Can anyone suggest where/what to eat for CS locations at the parks, please? Both US and IOA. Not fussy eaters!

i enjoy most, if not all, of the cs places.

look at the menus to see what appeals to you.
there are on debs site and the resturants are listed on the uo website.

all counter service locations there taste the same to me. its just a matter of which lines the shortest. I really love Louies pizza. its not the same as monsters cafe or international food and films pizza. its so much better. :lovestruc
The chicken tenders and spaghetti are all the same too, at both parks. IMO

Thanks to Mythos, I've never done CS at IOA. However, at USF, Louie's is great for pizza as Jillybeene mentioned. There's also a Nathan's hotdog stand in Amity that's good. Be sure to show your AAA or AP card if you have one for a discount!

patster i really have to agree with you on what you said.

i usually hesitate to name the places i consider great food as the next guy will come along and say, "what the heck was mac thinking of when that cs place was called great..........."

what i love you might hate.

studio side....

midway grill, do have to say nathans had good chicago style dogs, just like we get back home.

the fish/chicken place: the chicken at the stand across from midway grill them is delicious.

louie's hands down. that place alone for me makes the meal deal go broke...

finnegans........i don't care it is table service, like the fish and chips there.

richters, build your own burger fixing bar

monster, yea, like their pizza also

international film food festival....best fried chicken dinner, very good chinese dish, salads....yum yum

don't like mels, no discussion there homies

see, i told you i would name a place others adore....

beverly hills boulangerie, the best of the best for sandwiches and desserts

la bamba when it was opened for the rotisierre chicken and bbq ribs...

ioa side:

confisco grille, love the fresh grilled sandwiches . scratch this/table service

croissant moon bakery: pastries, rolls, etc

cinnabom, a chain counter service, limited menu place like at the malls.......

at IOA

comic strip cafe, cafeteria style of 5 different cusines

blondies, deli made sandwiches per your liking.....all fresh, nothing made in advance

thunder falls terrace, chicken, ribs, wraps........love the wraps

burger diggs, like the milkshakes, they also have burgers...and a fixing bar

enchanted oak grove, always eat here......like their combo plate and cool inside booths.

circus mcgurkus, cafeteria style....some things a hit or miss but when they're good, they are really good...

and my favorite..........drum roll please.........fire eaters grill for the gyros
but open seasonally

the ones i didn't name, i don't like.
but did mention mels as i won't go back there

this is probably more than you really wanted to know....eh.....

:rotfl: I know the feeling! I've given thumbs down to Pastamore' while I've seen others give it thumbs up. On the other hand, I've given thumbs up to Tchoup Chop while others gave it thumbs down.

It's impossible to account for individual tastes. That's why I try to encourage people to try any restaurant that they may have their heart set on even though I wasn't impressed with it myself.

do you need reservations for Mythos?

burger digs or dino dogs can remember whats it called thou, in IOA. we love if there as you get to put all your own toppings in your burger the best we love it there!!!!

I second everything Macraven said. We love fire eaters grill also.

Love the fish too at the chicken/fish place by the midway.

Love Blondies sandwiches.

do you need reservations for Mythos?

This past May, we had a 15 or 20 minute wait without a reservation, but it was just DW and I. Several years ago, we had a party of 17 and did make reservations for that visit. Making a reservation for Mythos is easy: Just stop by IOA guest services or one of the Dining Reservation booths in the morning of your visit. No need to make a reservation several days in advance.

i agree patster but the only time i would positively make a ressie for Mythos is if i went during the high holiday time such as spring break, Christmas time....

Enchanted Oak...I think that's what its called.

In US...Mel's drive in.

Both have yummy food.

Thunder Falls has the worst service I have ever experienced at a Theme Park. The workers were the meanest I have ever dealt with. The food was good, but the service was awful.

hi twindad, i hear you.

i knew someone would absolutely hate one of the places on my list...

i did have an issue 2 years ago at one of the cs places.
ok, i'll tell you.

it was at richters.

i got the food i ordered, went to the fixing bar and sat down at a table.

i took one bite and thought ugh, this is not a good sandwich.
i took another bite and said to myself, this is all bread and it had to have been sitting under the lights a long time.

i went back to the counter and asked for the person in charge.

i gave him the food and said, i can't eat this and want my money back.
it isn't up to standards of what i consider good for this place.

the supervisor was aplogetic and gave me back my money.
he then said, i know you wanted to eat, let me give you anything we have here, compliments from me.

i said, sure, took a chicken sandwich.
it was fresh and my mood changed completely.

readers digest version: if you are not satisfied with the food, or TMs there, ask to speak to the manager of the place.
they will correct the situation. even if you were satisfied with the food but the employees there were offensive, the manager would have made your dining pleasure better.

you could have had a refund of money even tho that was not the issue.
the manager would have been very happy to be made aware of how his staff treated guests.
