I am a member of every car rental company's club but I usually do Priceline so I have to wait in lines. Going to arrive Thanksgiving day and my first priority will be getting out of the airport ASAP not just the cost. Which company makes it easiest to get my car and go:drive:?

I prefer National. Using the Emerald Aisle I walk across the street, pick a car and drive away.

I agree with the above poster - National Rental Car.
As part of Emerald Aisle, you reserve your car then head straight to the garage and select the car in your reserved category and head out. It is very simple and fairly quick.

Thanks! That's just what I need!

I use Avis because we get a really, really good rate through work. I always book Avis Preferred, walk out to the garage, look at the board for my name and it tells me what slot my car is in, get in the car, quick stop at the booth and we are gone. It is just as quick as National but you are assigned a car rather than selecting one.

I'll check them out, too. I've got an Avis Preferred card, too.

I used Alamo for the first time in May. If you do the check in at home online before you leave, you print a confirmation with barcode. After picking up your bags, head directly to the garage and the aisle of the class of car you reserved. The keys will be in the car. Drive to the exit, hand the attendant your contract, license abd credit card and you are good to go.

Add us to the Avis camp. I've used them for multiple trips (WDW and elsewhere) and their Preferred service is great.

Alamo is great. Two weeks ago from the time we landed to the time we were driving to WDW was 30 minutes. Got off the plane, stopped for a bathroom break, got our luggage, picked out our car and on the highway and I commented to DH that just 30 minutes ago we were getting off the plan. We used the Alamo Kiosk by the rental car counter. Which took all of 5 minutes to complete.

We were surprised that we rented a midsize but there was a good 10 -15 vans in the midsize row. We took a kia soul. We were also amazed that the interior was black but when we got in the car after it sat in the sun in 90 degree temps that it was not all that hot on the inside.
