Best Afternoon/Evening Park--Please VOTE!!

I'm trying to figure out our itinerary. We have a 6 Day Hopper (without the waterpark option) and are staying 6 nights at CBR this Sept.

Anyway, most of the week we plan on trying to get to the parks at the openings (not EMH, just regular openings), but I would like to have one day where we just sleep in and get to the park in the afternoon (12-1pm) and stay until closing. Also, keeping in mind that we would like to be able to ride the most popular rides at that particular park (we don't expect to see everything, though).

So which of the 4 main parks would be most conducive to this type of itinerary? Which park do you think would be the least crowded on a non EMH day in the afternoon/evening in Sept? Which would you choose to tour in the pm and WHY??????????????

Sat 9/24--Arrival--no parks
Sun--MK
Mon--MGM
Tues--Epcot
Wed--AK
Thur--MK again
Fri 9/30--Departure (maybe hit any missed or favorite attractions)

Epcot would be a good choice if you want to have a nice lunch in WS and then maybe go back over to FW. We walked onto Spaceship Earth last year in June in the middle of the afternoon. I think a lot of guests are in FW in the morning and head over to WS for lunch and the afternoon. If you want to go to Soarin', I would get a Fastpass when you get there. The main attractions stay open in FW until 9:00 even when the rest of FW closes so that gives you more time in that area.

Animal Kingdom might be the good for this also. I think a lot of guests leave by early afternoon so the crowds start to thin out. The parade is beautiful so you could catch that in the afternoon. I have heard their EMH evenings are nice because it's still not really late and you can walk on most things. Would your schedule allow you to do AK on it's EMH evening? If so, arriving at 1:00 might be good.

Another vote for Epcot. We often tour this park in the afternoon evening after visiting another park earlier in the day. It is just so huge compared to the other parks and nice to be able to take it all in rather than rushing around.

That was my original plan, but I've been told by many that fastpasses for Soarin and Test Track (rides we definitely want to do) will run out quickly--possibly by noon. That would leave the standby lines which are hours long. So, that is why I'm reconsidering this plan.

Did you find that when you did Epcot in the pm?

Another vote for Epcot. You could hit the major rides and spend the evening strolling through the World Showcase, ending the day with Illuminations if you wanted. My thought is the Animal Kingdom closes too early for this strategy. MK and MGM have too much to see in one day, IMO.

How about Animal Kingdom on an EMH Night. We would be there from about 12-7pm. Would this be enough time?

OR

Epcot from 12-7pm, but my concern is still being able to get a fastpass for Soarin and Test Track, as well as seeing Crush, Journey, Mission Space and Honey. There just seems to be more to do in Epcot than AK.
