Shops shows and restaurants are the main things . Not every one of these is air conditioned but many are. Many of the rides also have AC especially the indoor ones.
Most all indoor things have AC so just look to be indoors somewhere .

MK:
Columbia Harbor House (second floor is usually quieter; has a good view)
Air conditioned attractions long and quiet enough to count as a rest include:
Mickey's Philharmagic
Hall of Presidents
Carousel of Progress
Country Bear Jamboree

Epcot:
Club Cool doesn't have seating that I recall, but it's air conditioned and there's free soda
in the Land pavilion, Sunshine Seasons has a sort of food court seating area
If it's a less packed time of day, you can sit on the window sill of the dolphin tank at The Living Seas
Attractions:
Ellen's Energy Adventure is going to be your best bet for a long rest in a/c. It's a solid 40 minutes (no potty breaks!)
Most of the films in the World Showcase have you stand through the show, but the shows in France and America are basically movie theater seating.

AK:
Finding Nemo
Festival of the Lion King
It's Tough to be a Bug
The Conservation Station has an indoor section, but that's a long way to go if you weren't already planning to visit it

OP: when are you going, and have you been before? Non-ADR eating places, gift shops, restrooms, inside buildings, Baby care centers, etc. You can carry water-spray bottles (just avoid spraying other people), battery-operated fans, put a wet bandana around your neck, very carefully use a parasol (don't bump into people).

I would add the boat ride in Mexico in Epcot. Also, as PP mentioned, anywhere you eat for the most part will be air conditioned. If you are making reservations, you can try and get a late lunch or early dinner to get out of the heat, or pop into any counter service for a meal or snack. BTW, counter service places will give free ice water if you need to grab a quick drink to cool off. At Epcot in Future World, Sunshine Seasons in the Land has great counter service with a large seating area and you can jump on the Living with the Land ride with usually a short wait, to go on a boat ride to see some cool plants they are growing. The American Adventure in a World Showcase also has a large area with lots of tables. In MK, Columbia Harbor House 2nd floor as was said earlier, as well as Cosmic Rays. In AK Pizzafari has some indoor seating, as well as Restaurantosaurus in Dinoland. It's also fun to hop on the monorail at MK for a break and view of the scenery, or you could use it to resort hop for an afternoon break and check out the GF, Poly, and CR.

All of the above, but I am also an expert at finding a good air vent in the stores and just hanging out for a while. I will chat up the CM if they start looking at me crazy. :rotfl: But, also try to find yourself a pocket-size, battery operated fan with spritzer before you go. I got mine at Walmart a few years ago in either the summer seasonal section or camping. It was $5 and is the size of a deck of cards and has a carabiner clip to hook to your bag. Works great, especially in conjunction with the above mentioned A/C areas. I have a low melting point and low tolerance for humidity and lack of a good breeze, so I sweat at Disney no matter the season.

We like to rest up in American Adventure in Epcot! Also in MK any of the shops on Main Street are nice and cold! And the Hall of Presidents like a PP mentioned. In AK the Dinosaur ride is indoors, the line and the actual ride.

Lots of opportunities for A/C in the shops, indoor attractions and restaurants. We travel to WDW in August and use TS restaurants as our build in breaks and cool down periods, between those and the many indoor attractions, we really don't feel the heat that much.

Do these rides usually have short lines??

How about Monster Inc Laughing Floor at MK and Turtle Talk at Epcot?? Are these good options??

Any A/C places at HS???

:thanks:

Laugh Floor and Turtle talk are also good options and not usually too long of a wait.

At HS, your best bets are probably Muppet Vision 3D and Great Movie Ride as far as attractions. Muppet Vision usually doesn't have much of a wait, Great Movie Ride it varies. There's also a fairly large CS restaurant near Star Tours (Backlot Express I think).

The show-style attractions often have a waiting room before the theater, and there may or may not be a line before the waiting room. Depending on when you arrive, you may spend the full length of a show in the waiting room even if there is not a line, and in many cases the waiting room will not have a place to sit.

MK:
Mickey's Philharmagic - queue and waiting room are indoors but have no seats
Hall of Presidents - don't remember if there are seats in the waiting area
Carousel of Progress - line forms outside, but I've never had to wait longer than it takes for the next section to roll to the loading position
Country Bear Jamboree - waiting area has a few seats
Laugh Floor - yes, it's a good option, though the lines may get longer than for some of the older, less popular shows

Epcot:
Ellen's Energy Adventure - this ride has massive capacity and I have never seen a set of its ride vehicles completely fill. There's a pre-show, but it's air conditioned and there are a few benches.
Turtle Talk - another good option, though there may be a longer line. No seating in line, but the line is at least indoors.
I've personally never had to wait more than the length of show to get into a World Showcase film, but your mileage may vary. I don't remember if the film in France has an indoor waiting area, but America's waiting area is indoors, air conditioned, and has benches. I think you can probably even just go in there and sit without seeing the show if you don't care to commit to it; it's also where the Voices of Liberty sometimes perform.
In general you can just sort of hang out in most of the pavilions in Future World.

AK:
I haven't been to Finding Nemo or Festival of the Lion King recently and don't recall how the queues are set up. I think they might have set times you can look up on the schedule?
It's Tough to be a Bug - the lines can seriously vary. I've seen it sit at a five minute wait all day some days, and be quite a long wait other days.

HS:
One of my favorite spots to rest in HS is Writer's Stop, which is at the end of Streets of America nearer the entrance to the park. It's a relatively quiet little coffee shop/bookstore, and while it has very limited seating, most people don't seem to know it's there. If you're in that part of the park it's worth checking to see if there's an open table in the back before resigning yourself to hanging out in one of the bigger CS restaurants.

Muppet*Vision doesn't have seating in its waiting area, but I've never had to wait for more than the length of the show.
Great Movie Ride is another one that varies, as gatorlisa said, but once you're on I think it's something like fifteen or twenty minutes of sitting.

Another spot at HS is the Commissary (ABC Commissary? Don't remember the name). It's a CS restaurant kind of to the left of the Great Movie Ride (describing location in HS is difficult, sorry). I was never particularly impressed with the food, but there's ample indoor seating and you can always just get a soda to nurse in there for a while. Same kind of deal with Pizza Planet
