Best 50th Celebration Souvineers?

I read that the Golden Ears are sold out. Perhaps another shipment will come again but most people are ordering from --

I think I read that they will waive the shipping costs. I think they cost about $17 each.

Perhaps someone can verify who has recently been there. I will be going in 17 days so I will let you know what I find. If they are available at the parks - will they embroder names on them? If so, which store?

There were tshirts on sale Saturday and Sunday(July 16/17) in DTD and we were told they would only be sold those two days and then everything not sold would be destroyed if they didnt sell out. (BS? from the cast members?)

I bought a few - I will try to post a picture when I have a spare few hours... too busy catching up on work/laundry/stuff.

There is 50th Anniversary merchandise everywhere. Special Gold GOH badges, numerous t-shirts, special beanies, toys, autograph books, pressed penny books, patches, picture frames, statues, etc. I couldn't begin to name everything. The entire center section of World Of Disney is devoted to 50th Anniversary merchandise.

In May I bought a pretty 50th celebration afghan/throw- its of the castle all decorated in gold. I think it was $35-$45, it looks pretty on my bed. At first, I bought the big 50th celebration snowglobe but when I saw how huge and heavy the box was, I returned it b/c I didn't feel like lugging that on the plane, or finding out it was too big to be a carry on or something. Don't forget to buy a 50th celebration scrapbook paper/stickers set.

What makes these t-shirts so special is that they are Date Specific.
It says across the bottom, July 17, 1955 - July 17, 2005

As far as I know, there was only one delivery to each store and once they were sold out they would not be replenished. Same this happened during the Oct 1, 1998 T-Shirt from the Magic Kingdom 25th

These were not purchased at the parks, but I bought the pins that were being sold with the batteries. There are 5 designs & they are for the 50th celebration. I bought mine at Walgreens

I don't have a picture, but I'll try to remember to take one tonight. It was $15 for 12x12 and has lots of papers and stickers, little quote things and some paper frames. There is some nice paper, some vellum. I'll try to remember to lay it all out and take a picture of it for you tonight. If I remember a lot of the stuf says "the happiest celebration on earth"

I was charged 9.95 and yes they did waive the shopping cost. I have not received them yet, the CM said they had a lot of orders and it could take two weeks to get them. As long as I receive them by Oct. I will be ok
