What are your favorite 2-credit restaurants to eat at with kids? Anywhere in WDW, but keeping the dinner shows out of it.

CA Grill was a favorite in 2014 and the highlight of our 2016 trip. I like to go early (when they first open) and have a relaxed sunset meal (we travel when the days are short). They have handmade pizza which they made to order with no sauce in 2014 and this time we were on dxddp so kiddo ordered the adult filet but he would have had the kid tenderloin otherwise. He got it with a side of mac and cheese and both were "delishballs" his highest compliment. They also have really fun desserts. The view is amazing and you can go back later for fireworks with your receipt.

I would agree with CA Grill. We've eaten there a few times and just ate there this past Sunday night. The view, even when there aren't any fireworks, is simply amazing. If you time it well and there are earlier fireworks going on at DHS, you can see those as well. We had a 5:50 pm reservation and were able to see both the Jingle Bam fireworks at DHS and the Frozen Holiday Wish at MK. You can also see Spaceship Earth from there. It's just really beautiful and the food is delicious. My DS had the kids' steak and the cookie dessert.

We also really enjoy the Boathouse at DS. It's very low-key and the food is delicious.

I have to agree on CA Grille (we are not DDP but pay OOP). We had an early early dinner with our then-3 year old on arrival day and it was just ... magical. It was late afternoon sun on the castle, and she was just thrilled. We've been back to CA Grill several times, and always enjoyed it, but that first time was the most magical.

not sure if these are 2-credit meals, or "shows," but also:

the old Flying fish Cafe, BOG, CRT, 1900 Park Fare...

I'm going to promote Artist Point, as usual.

The fish and the petit filet are both quite nice, and allows the adults to get the Taste of the Pacific.

Hoop De Do Revue. My kids loved it. We have seen it 3 times in the last 8 years. When I asked DD9 if she wanted to do any "character" meals for our June 2017 trip, she said HDDR. The food is ok, but kid friendly--ribs, fried chicken, strawberry shortcake.

I can understand CG since you can also watch the fireworks; we (and our kids) also really like Narcoossee's for this reason. I will admit watching Wishes from CG is incredible and I think the best view anywhere, but watching from the deck at Narcoossee's is pretty awesome too. Each time we've been there we've seen lots of families with kids of all ages :)

I also like Artist Point for kids. I feel the GF 2 credit restaurants are a bit more upscale and any loudness or fooling around would surely be noticed! Same with Yatchsman. Artist Point, Le Cellier and Cali Grill are more family friendly in terms of atmosphere/ambiance. If you time it right, the fireworks could be a nice extra to Cali Grill, but the Wilderness Lodge lobby is an attraction in itself and the rustic theme is more unique than that at the blah Contemporary. The fireworks are late and not sure if you want to eat with kids so late. My vote is also Artist Point :) If you want to see fireworks at 9/10pm, you can always go to the Magic Kingdom!!!
