We are going to Orlando in September as my husband is attending a convention. We visited USO last fall so had not planned on going to US this time. BUT, with all of the buzz about the new Mummy ride, my 2 teen boys are hinting their disappointment at not being to go to US. So, I was thinking of taking them for 1 day while hubby attends meetings. The best 1 day ticket price I have found is from Mousesavers thru AAA South for 2 park pass at $68.16. Does anyone know of a better deal? Or is this the best I will find?

I think you can do better if you want a one day/one park pass, but I haven't seen anything better on a 2park pass. -HM

Well, the regular price for a one day/one park ticket is $57.46 adult, which is better than what you would pay for the one day/two park ticket (but you get less for what you are paying).

Hmmm....Now I see a 1 day/1 park pass at AAA South for $50.59 on Mousesavers if you buy at the Orlando AAA office.

Those are great prices for tickets! I couldn't find those tickets, though. The price I found was $53.15 each for a 1 day/1 park ticket. I'll keep looking around that site.....thanks!!

I don't think that DNBois' numbers are correct. The prices that she quoted are for the Express passes, not for admission to the park. ;)

Yes jerbroni, you are correct!!! All I can say is bleep! bleep! bleep! Boy, do I feel like a moron!! I actually bought them thinking they were tickets and I got way ahead of myself - no wonder why my family was wondering why they were so unbelievably cheap - I am now going to delete that post so that no one else will now how slow I am on the uptake - perhaps it's because I didn't have my coffee until late morning - now I just have to call and explain the situation to hopefully get my money back:crazy:

Interestingly, I find several different prices for the 1 day pass.

The Fan Club 1 day/1 park is offered at $58.31 + $2.00 to pick it up at the Park. With the Fan Club discount, it is $52.48 + $2.00 pick up fee.

The Universal site offers this ticket at $54.75 + $2.00 pick up.

And, AAA in Orlando offers a 1 day/1 park ticket for $50.59, but you have to drive over and pick the ticket up at the office.

Universal is offering AAA members a one day two park pass for 69.95 plus tax (per person). Includes a free parking upgrade, CityWalk Party Pass, Priority Seating at select CityWalk restaurants, and a AAA Savings Coupon Book. Head to your local AAA, have them call Universal Vacations and request the UO Inclusion Ticket. (If your still interested that is...)

In preparing for our trip, I called AAA South and they said that, as of July, USO no longer offers the AAA special price of $50.59 at the AAA office (and Mousesavers.com has removed that info from their site).

If your husband is attending a convention, then you should qualify for the convention tickets through the Orange County Convention Center site. They offer special priced tickets for convention goers and their family.

Actually, we had planned on getting a AAA discount at the gate. I had called and talked to the Orlando AAA office and was told they did sell the 1-day passes from their office but you could get them discounted at the gate. We found that was NOT the case. We did, however, pay with a Mastercard and received free Mummy Ride pins so I felt they were worth the few dollars the AAA discount would have saved us. We paid the $55, 1-day pass rate.
