Besides the "H" word what

else will you not discuss here on the CB? I have no problem with discussing body parts or functions As my dh says I can burp any man under the table, but I do not like to discuss politics, money or even child rearing.

Anyone?

I can't think of any topic I consider taboo, really. I figure people like the anonymity of a message board -- its a good way to get a lot of practical advice from real people without the embarrassment of actually asking people in real life.

It doesn't bother me at all that someone is asking about "H". I might ask a question like that if I needed the info bad enough. I doubt I would discuss anything of a serious personal nature, like marital or legal problems, but other than that, my feeling is anything goes. This led to problems when I was a mod, I liked to see everything stand as it was written, and part of being a mod is weeding out what is inappropriate.

The word is "hemoroids". Apparently some people feel this is something that should not be discussed.....perhaps not Disney-esque enough for some? I admit to it not being a topic I relish either, but it doesn't disturb me either... I put it in the same category as any other minor health related topic...kind of mundane and not really of interest to me, but not offensive either.

It's best not to discuss prior to eating lunch or dinner. Other than that I think it's okay. It's part of life. Poop happens!!!

I have no problem talking about certain things/functions like that on message boards. If it's MY problem, and I already Googled everything I could possibly Google and finally needed some personal experiences because my search came up empty...

I get uncomfortable when I read threads that are about peoples' spouses or significant others or children... I know my husband would be mortified if I ever asked a message board about some private medical problem he was having, like "H". But, he can feel free to inquire!
