What would I do without you guys? Oh my God, DH will make me begin drinking again before we get on that ship in 10 weeks!

I love coming here to read about others trips and questions. What is cool is that sometimes people ask questions about things I didn't even know I was supposed to know :D
I can't talk to any of my family or friends about the cruise 'cause they either think we are crazy or they are jealous!

I was SO HAPPY my twin sister and her family decided to join us on our cruise! I talk to her about once a week or so and last year she was sick of hearing about my plans! But now that she and her family are going she in on the boards as much as I am!!!
MY DH was not sure of cruising before we went on our 1st trip, but he's been hooked ever since!

DH thinks I am a bit obsessed about our upcoming cruise, but I just can't help myself. The DIS boards are the best part of the countdown. I love hearing about everyone's experience. I think we will be much better prepared than on our first WDW/Wonder trip, making our Magic cruise even more relaxing.

Everyone around here thinks that I'm crazy!!!
My co-workers rarely even ask where I'm going on vacation anymore. They just roll their eyes and say, "Another cruise, right?"
It's so nice to visit here on DIS and talk to people who understand! There are lots of things in life that people can be obsessive about, and I think that Disney is the best :D :D

My co-workers are sick of hearing about the cruise so the only outlet I have are the posts! I don't know what I will do when it's all over!

Probably go through withdrawl!!!

Lucky for me, DH and DD's are as excited as I am. My husband is a lurker on these boards, as are my DD's. We manage to bring up the cruise topic at least one time during dinner every nite. Half the fun is the planning and anticipation, since the cruise is over so quickly!:bounce:

Just the DIS and my DH. I fear others may think I'm nuts. (I will admit to a Disney obsession, but nothing more!) ;)

I talk "Disney" to DH only in small bits--he tires of it rather quickly, (gets a "look" on his face, sort of frozen) so I like to wait until HE mentions something Disney-related. :smooth:

Your question is: Besides the DIS who do we discuss the cruise with? ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!!!!!! LOL

A patient came into the office a couple of weeks ago and she said I just got back from a Carnival cruise out of NY to Nova Scotia, she said I just LOVE cruising and went on and on. Need I say more, she got an earful from me also. She stayed about 10 minutes after she was done just talking about cruising, then she said I better go although I can stay here all night just talking about cruising. So see its not just us DISers.
By the way, she said there were lots of kids on board and it was a great cruise!

Lol MdmMim -- My DH gets the same look! And, he can even make it come through the phone line. I was talking to him about which hotel to stay at precruise, and I actually "heard" the look, I swear. He sort of faded out. I know he is as excited as me in his own way, but the planning excitement escapes him. He views my time on the DIS boards indulgently, as one might view a dotard aunt who potters around in her own little world.

I can talk about it with DH as he's just as excited as I am about our next cruise, and now I can talk about it with my parents as well because we've talked them into trying a 4-night Wonder cruise with us in January 2004 and they're already getting excited about it too!! :D

I talk to anyone who will listen, and it's amazing how many people bring up the subject themselves! I have pictures from my first hanging on my office wall. An incredible number of people say "Oh, is that the Disney Cruise? I've been thinking of going, but wanted to talk to somebody who's already gone about..." and then proceed to talk for an hour! The most recent was the phone repair technician. He left after an hour...and then remembered that he forgot to fix the phone!

And there's always my DDIL. I talked so much about our trip last year and our upcoming trip this year that she (and her husband, who is my DS (obviously), and DGD will be with us in Dec. of 2003). So now, not only are we talking about this year's cruise, but she's already bubbling over for next year!

She hasn't been here yet, but I'm getting ready to introduce her to these boards within a week or so.

Beth

BTW--DH gets that same "look" too, but I keep right on talking! I'm paying for this trip, so all he had to do is listen!

My DH says he won't be excited until about 2 weeks before our cruise.

I work with all men and I am the only woman so the minute I mention my cruise, their eyes just glaze over:rolleyes: but at least my DSIS and I can talk to each other.

We are both so excited about our 1/25/03 trip:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We can't wait, but actually, the planning is half the fun. It's so great to have all our DIS friends to support us too.:D

My DBIL is excited too but he gives us a hard time for taking 2 winter weekends away from his and DH's skimobiling trips!!!:smooth:
