Besides swimming, is there anything else to do at ASMo

We are still trying to plan our first and last days without using PHs.

Our first day will be Saturday at ASMo. We won't have tickets that day, we're planning to walk around the resort and look at everything, go swimming, and go to downtown Disney. I also booked Chef Mickey's for dinner that night, for a little Disney magic. I know there is a playground area for kids as well

My DS7 considers all arcades a "must see"!

We also enjoy playing miniature golf on non-park days. Take the Blizzard Beach bus to the Winter/Summerland course. It's great!

I second Winter Summerland mini golf because Blizzard Beach is so close to the All Stars
You can also walk to AS Sports and AS Music to check out the theming.
Downtown Disney is also an option if you want to venture a little further.

Not much to do at ASMo, but there's some things to do on the non-park day. Some were already mentioned above.

We like to resort hop. By bus, we went to MK, then took the boat to Poly and walked around and took some pix, then we did the monorail to Contempo and did some shopping there, then back to MK, then took the bus back to our resort.

we were at ASmovies in April- and had a few non-park days, and also spent a few afternoons back at the hotel.

They're is a kids playground, just past the big pool. It wasn't that crowded at all.

We did the arcade one afternoon...

we did the hair wraps, that took awhile, since you have sign up, then wait, then the actual wrap was about 15 minutes each girl..hair 1/2 way down their back.

we had brought some small outdoor toys- frisbee's etc.. and we did play with those on the grassy areas a couple of times.

We spent time in the gift shop...

Also- on our arrival day- we arrived at 3pm, and have a chef mickeys at 7pm was perfect

yup same building as foodcourt/checkin/arcade and gift shop

We've had a lot of fun at the arcade at ASMo.

There is also a water jet area that my DD loved to play in. It is by the love bug building.

Walk around, check things out. There's so much to see. Resort Hop. Take a bus to FT. Wilderness and go to the petting zoo. I think there are playgrounds too. Swim. Downtown Disney is great. Do you have kids? They will love the Lego play area at Downtown Disney. My neice could spent entire days there.
