Illuminations Dessert Party

OK, I got the info - the basic price for minimum of 20 people will be $27.00 which would be brownies, cookies, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and lemonade. THis pays for the food, drinks, tax, tip, space rental, all servers, and security. I am getting some menus faxed to me, and a contract. There are better desserts, for more $, I would rather s'more and something more adult like canollis and cream puffs, depending on the per person price. I don't want to go over $30.00 p/p. You do have to have park admission, also. So now I need commitment from people that you will or won't be there. It is set for the 18th at 8pm, lower terrace in the UK. Guaranteed space to see Illuminations, in private. NO gate crashers!!!!

Pleas let me know ASAP, I will also post on the DIS Meets thread and link that post to the whose going in August thread on the resorts board.

... the IDP last year, and it was A-W-E-S-O-M-E!! Luckily, we DID have just 20 people. We were located in England, and there was a wedding taking place right next door in France!!

I so wish I could be there for the IDP, but alas I'll be at home in Ohio with the sweltering heat and with the way things have been going, and Ozone alert so that we are stuck indoors or miserable feeling outdoors Enjoy that dessert party and your trips though

I can't be there either but sound like a great time. I also attended an Illuminations viewing from that exact spot in 2001 and it was wonderful.

Did I miss something about Lars maybe joining the Angels in FL????

Hiya!

To those wondering, here is more detail on what I think is our flight schedule (my Mum has the tickets and I've just looked this up approx on the airline website, if I found out it is wrong later I'll post the correct stuff up!):

We will be landing in Philadelphia, PA (PHL) at 3.25pm on Sunday 29th June. We will leave there at 5.45pm to fly to Orlando, FL (MCO) (I thought we landed in Sanford?! Oh well!)

Upon our return flight:

We will be landing in Philadelphia, PA (PHL) at 6.46pm on Thursday 17 July. We will leave there at 8.10pm to fly back to the UK.

I'm pretty sure that's it!!

So yeah... we will have 2 hrs 20 mins in PA on our way there and 2hrs 24 mins in PA on our way back!

Melissa - I love your pictures and certainly agree that DBF is a hunk! I live very close to our airport here in RI but we don't have any international flights. Hope your entire trip is safe and magical!

Talk about a complete change in weather. Matt had a game on Saturday night and we were wearing several layers of clothing and getting rained-on. At today's game we're having trouble wearing enough clothes to stay cool......and decent!!!
I'm wearing my angel earrings to bring his team luck in the playoffs. !
