Bernie's Angels - the Chat Fest continues...

Good evening all.

Carol, it's nice to have a few days to yourself, even with out a computer. You can nap, or do what every you want and no one can whine.

Sandi, continued good thoughts a PD for the little one. Medicine is so good in todays world.

Elaine, we expect a report, but only after you rest up. THat is quite a drive you did, even if you made DH do a lot of it.

We did NOT do the carpet in the guest room. We did go to Men's Wearhouse and Pete got new pants, shirt, tie, and 2 jackets. He has decided that it would be better to have more formal attire for his dinner. Then we took the pants pack that he bought last week, they were too big. So between the grocery store, the cllothing shopping and the produce stand, all he wanted to do was put the transitions in between the carpert and the vinyl in the entry way and in the doorway from the darage into the laundry room. At least it's not like we have to call someone else in! Air tem-p got to 101 today, the pool warmed back up to 86. Even tho I shouldn't do it, I have one good tan going.

Gaspode - I am jealous of your upcomoing trip. Everytime someone goes and I don't, well...... But I will be there soon enough.

Lovely sunny day today! My DS is going to a bible camp this week w/ the neighbor so I had to get up early. The camp is only from 9-12, but I haven't had to get myself ready this early since he got out of school.

Not much going on today, just going to relax and catch some rays!

Off to 5th grade graduation.....just had to close up the house...I can hear the rumble of the NWC cars testing up at the track.

BTW...the winner of yesterday's race...was driving the ANGELS car....okay....charlie's not bernies...but same dif

I just noticed the biggest typo I've done in a while... I was replying to Sandi and said DH instead of DN... that H & N are too close. Oh and Sandi I was a bit tired yesterday but I wanted to tell you that my sister's co-worker had a baby boy with similar thing (fluid in lungs, put on machine to help breathing) and 2 years later he is happy and healthy with no sign of trouble at all. Actually he has a sister (I think) now too and loves her to death

Lars has good news on the way??? Very cool

Oh about the trip... well we left Sat. morning at about 8:40 (a little late) and made it to Indy by about 10:00 am (one hour time change there). We stayed in the same place Dan did and we relaxed a short while before heading off to the mall in Indy itself. So we got our lunch and ate it while watching a free improv commedy act. They were pretty good. A lot of the meet was spent chatting and after a while we decided to go watch Finding Nemo. After that we had dinner and then went back to the hotel. Dan came to our room and we talked for a while and then after he left, Luis and I went swimming for a while.

Next mornign I was up really early (before 6 feeling like it was and hour later) so I slowly got ready and then went to breakfast. Luis wasn't hungry so Dan and I went to the Bennigens attached to the hotel and had breakfasat there. Apparently we talked a lot because by the time I got back, Luis was up and had packed us all up. We then went to the zoo and met up with a few people there. The zoo was nice, but I admit I like the feel of our zoo here better (as did Luis). It was just more lush with vegetation, bigger and a larger variety of animals at ours. Anyway at about 2:30 or so we realized we had to leave and so we said our goodbyes and took off on the road. We pulled in just at 6:00 (hour time change back). I know that the others went to another DISer's home for a cookout but considering that Dan didn't leave there until 9 PM I am so glad that we didn't go after all... that would have been far too tiresome.

The cats were happy to see us and not too upset at us for leaving them

So there was the weekend. Very nice and very relaxing

Oh, I think he actually enjoys going now and then. This one was nice since Indy was a special city to us I think if there isn't anything going on the next day though, we won't spend the night again, but it was nice to do one night

Yes, Lars, I took some pictures. Not a whole lot though. I said this to a few others, but I am not putting near as much work into getting them on the boards as I used to... they all seem to get moved no matter what. I am rethinking how I want to do them all though so it might be a short while. With these though, I might throw them on imagestation and get them up tonight.

and I got a bigbox from Miss Parisian,

It had a huge mug, 64 OZ, inside the mug: spf 45 nose, face, lip cream, a LIME GREEN key chain fan, 5 packs of Koolaid mix, and GUMMY Sharks! and then......
a pack of patriotic paper napkins, 2 squirt guns, a beautiful ankle bracelet, a table cloth for my patio table, a LIME GREEN straw dispenser with straws, and a lime green pool blow up tire. Oh, I just forgot, 4 popsicle molds!

Thank you so much, Satine. I love it all, and I will try really hard not to use the squirt guns in anything other than a safe manner!
