The sun is shining today! Yippeeee! I'm so glad to see blue sky for a change. DH has a doctor's appointment, so he took the whole day off. Don't know for sure what we have planned.

Sorry Bernie is feeling under the weather. Hope you have a get-well-quick kind of weekend oldkicker.

I couldn't post earlier because my cable was not bringing me the internet. Then I got on through DH's work and Lars's PM box was full and I couldn't get here. Now I can post.

Finally, someone followed my rules. I received a lime green box from Lars today. There was a definite lime green theme to the contents. She sent me a martini glass, drink shaker, mug, sunglasses, magnetic bag clip, picture frame, candles, and Lifesavers Kickerz, all lime green. Also, a summer bottle opener, Disney pocket fan, and handmade wine charms and Angel earrings. And, in my opinion, best of all, a lime green night shirt with Angels all over it. How perfect can you get.

What a great evening.

I came home and Mrs. AlabamaAlan had prepared green beans (from her Granddaddy's garden), mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. I grilled the pork chops she had marinated and we sat down with the kids for supper.

She got the youngest DD to sleep while I did some grocery shopping and when I returned, we popped popcorn and sat in our bed with 5 yr old DD and watched "Treasure Planet" on DVD.

I would not trade my life for any man's on this planet.

Great evening, Alan. I liked Treasure Planet at the movies (saw it as sneak preview, also) but have not gotten the DVD yet. It sounds like your weekend got off to a really good start. Make sure the Mrs, gets a little fluff hug, too. How's the move coming?
