Love the earrings! Great job!

My daughter Elizabeth had her ears pierced for her 6th birthday. Most of her friends have them pierced too.

Afternoon everyone.
I'm in a foul mood....DMIL arrived from FL today, and of course came bearing gifts for each grandchild...spent a total of 1 hour (DH and DS2 were not home) and then blew back out on the broom she came in on.....managed to wake me up from a nap (can you say poke a bear with a stick...) comandeered our summer schedule to find out when we could fit in a trip to her house......as if......and then merrily left again.

It's taken me 19 years to say this but "I DON'T LIKE HER!!!"

That being said......both games are over for the day, both boys won!!!
Received a letter in the mail today from the District Court...and the judge's decision........




























WAS FOR ME!!!!!!


so there was something good to come of today!

I have to say, I loved the drink charms also. But then again....I love to drink!!!

Laura - I love the earrings - they look great! I just might have to order a pair or two myself from you...

Leah got her ears pierced when she was in kindergarten. I would have let her get them done earlier, but she wanted no parts of it. Finally, one day she came home and said she wanted them done, so we left right then! I think I might have been around 13 when I got them done. I also got my left ear pierced a second time in college. I always think that I would like to get a small tattoo, but I don't know that I would ever go through with it.

Stephanie - I think MIL's were put on this earth to be annoying... Great news on your case! I'm glad that's finally over with for you. It must have been very stressful.

It hasn't rained here since this morning, although it is getting very windy now. Lorraine's BIL's wedding started 40 minutes ago so I hope the rain holds off long enough for them to take some pictures outside. I talked to Lorraine's DH this morning, and he said their DD refused to walk down the aisle last night at the rehearsal, but he thinks it's just because she had just woken up from her nap. I'm sure she will do fine today.

DS won his soccer game too. And the rains did not come so they got their church youth group cook out in also.

DH and I decided to start looking for a small third car for me to use for work so DD could use my station wagon for school and sports and driving her brother around. I don't want her driving a small car yet. We are just looking now.

Hi Angels!!
After the birthday party a friend & I took my 3 kids & 1 of hers to see Holes. We just got home. It was enjoyable....except for the OBNOXIOUS teenagers sitting behind us. They were kicking Megan's seat & putting their feet up on her chair (until I turned around & gave em the death stare) and they told in a LOUD voice everything that ws going to happen about 10 seconds before it did. & they talked back to the screen continuously. We shushed them repeatedly but they were just awful!! Everyone around us was furious!!!

Laura, maybe you could figure out some matching Angel earrings for us to purchase

I have some lime green beads But, no Angel is purchasing them. If I design Angel earrings they'll be gifts!
Steph-CONGRATS on the judges decision. We knew all along that you were right! & I'm a size 9 thong BTW my MIL is on my last nerve too. We ended up buying her a DVD player for Mother's Day because FIL called & told DH that she was whining about not getting enough gifts?!?!?!?! I asked if she was gonna hold her breath & stomp her feet if we didn't get her what she wanted....What a BIG BABY!!!

Me too but I also doubt I'd really do it....although you never know if I was with a fellow Angel!!!!

I'm also reporting a sports win......Matt's team came from behind....at one point they were down 6 runs.......to win in the bottom of the last inning!!!!

I can relate to having a hesitant flower girl. Our niece was only 3 1/2 when we got married so we had her godmother at the top of the aisle to encourage her....and we bribed her with chewing gum. You can see it in her mouth in almost every picture!!!

Just a quick visit tonight....we've been running non-stop today & tonight. We're heading to the Cape tomorrow and taking my mom. No specific destination....just a ride and dinner somewhere along the way.

I actually got a small "bee" (I guess I've ALWAYS been a do-bee) on my left ankle 2 years ago....it was KIND of spur of the moment...as I'm the designated "fun/brave Aunt" when it come time for belly button piercings and the like, I was the "adult" accompanying my 18 year old niece when she wanted to get a tattoo on her back....on the "pain" scale, it wasn't much worse than some DENTAL work I've had done....I have to say, 2 years later....I am glad I did it!

My DH and I have been talking about getting a tattoo for a while now. I'm thinking of having Tinkerbell put on my right shoulder and he wants the Haunted Mansion plaque on his upper arm. I'm glad to hear the pain isn't that bad. That was the only thing holding me back.
